We stayed twice with Larry & Allan in September 2014 travelling to and from Denali N. P. I chose the Wildflower Inn for its great location between the airport, Downtown Anchorage, close to the Museum and Alaska Railroad terminal AND of course Trip Advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. Despite our first cab driver "trying" to misunderstand the location we... More

We stayed here three nights while in town for a conference. Allen and Larry are wonderful hosts who made us feel incredibly welcome. The room (suite, really) was cozy, clean and had plenty of space and privacy, and the location is very convenient. We definitely hope to stay here again!

We stayed one night at Wildflower and were very happy with our experience! We stayed in the room upstairs which had a private bath. Even though it's an old house, the room and bathroom appeared newly updated with modern fixtures and furnishings. Everything was pristine clean and very comfortable. Also, it was very quiet. We couldn't tell there were other... More

Over a 3-week trip to multiple destinations in Alaska, we wound up staying here 3 separate nights on this trip, and we have also stayed here several times before on previous trips. The innkeepers are always helpful and they put on quite a breakfast. The only negative is that the house is next to a busy street and you hear... More

What a wonderful place to "hang your umbrella." This B & B is simply the best. Newly updated, the shower/tubs are great and unusual for a B & B. Larry and Allen go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable, well fed and enjoying the Anchorage area. We feel so fortunate to have found them and the... More

This place is a cozy B&B conveniently located within walking distance of downtown and a small grocery store. The owners Larry and Allan were very nice and we enjoyed chatting with them about the area, their travels, and how they came to be B&B owners. The other guests were nice too - much older than us (we're 30) but also... More

A good B and B is about many things converging into a great experience. Wildflower has it all. It combines good location, reasonable prices, comfortable accommodations, excellent food, and warm and friendly hosts. Larry and Allan are great hosts. They have a lovely home are both great cooks! I'm hoping next time we visit there will be a cookbook available, OMG the breakfast are amazing and all goes well with reindeer sausage! The location is perfect as it is a few blocks easy walk into downtown Anchorage - this is great, because any... More

We had a wonderful visit at the Wildflower Inn in Anchorage. We opted to arrive a couple of days before our guided tour began and choosing the Wildflower Inn was perfect. Our hosts were great - fun, knowledgeable and great cooks! Our rooms were ideal - plenty of room, very clean and quiet. The location was within walking distance to... More

Just returned from Anchorage and a 4 night stay at the Wildflower Inn. I can't recommend it highly enough. We stayed in the upstairs double and single suite. It is reasonably priced and the owners Larry and Allan are the perfect hosts. Home cooked breakfasts and chatting with other guests made it a fascinating stay. Also Larry was a mine... More
