What a great way to start our Alaskan adventure! We stayed at this B&B for one night before we moved onto Homer. The space is beautiful, both inside & out. Larry greeted us and gave us a quick tour of the home, including talking about the history of the home & area. He was helpful with ideas for lunch &... More

We had an amazing time during our stay at A Wildflower Inn Bed and Breakfast! Our hosts, Larry and Allan are wonderful. Upon our arrival, Larry greeted us and gave us a tour of the Wildflower along with sharing its interesting history. The rooms are comfortable, cozy, and clean. Every room is unique and comfy! In addition to their outstanding... More

We had a wonderful experience here during a summer visit. Nice, well-appointed rooms, a quiet location that's easily walkable from downtown, tasty breakfasts, and I can't speak highly enough of the hosts Allan and Larry. They have great tips for where to stay, what to do, and where to eat if you're traveling elsewhere in Alaska.

I can't speak highly enough about Wildflower Inn. We stayed one night before moving on to two nights at a vacation rental also owned by the Wildflower owners. Both properties showed a pride of ownership that led to outstanding stays. We found our room at the Wildflower to be well appointed. The bathroom/shower across the hall was perfectly sized for... We stayed at the Wildflower Inn for several nights in June. It is conveniently located a short walk from the downtown restaurants, shops, and the museum (approx. 1 mile to the train depot). Larry and Allan were fabulous hosts and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay most enjoyable. They have a great assortment of visitor... More

Although its formal name is "inn" this is a true bed-and-breakfast of the best type -- a place where after a few hours, you feel it's more like visiting cousins you hadn't seen for a while than strangers. The rooms are bright and clean, the house is full of fascinating Alaskan décor (I especially liked the moose head made from... More

Great friendly hosts (they let us borrow an old copy of the Milepost for our road trip which was so appreciated), delicious breakfast, convenient location. We stayed in the basement suite which was a bit humid but nothing too bad. Wonderful stay at the Wildflower.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at this inn. Breakfast was great with a different main entree served each morning along with several continental choices. Being within walking distance to downtown was a plus. We tried several good restaurants. Our hosts were helpful, making suggestions as to interesting places to visit. Our room was comfortable and immaculate.

Our room was bright, clean, and comfortable. The setup allowed for considerable privacy despite the inn itself being a rather small place. The owners went out of their way to treat you as familiar guests. The location was a short walk to downtown. It was a nice surprise.

The Wildflower Inn is a charming little B&B, close to downtown, with a very safe feel. The hosts are friendly and considerate, making sure that we had everything we needed, cooking up a delicious breakfast, and offering lots of suggestions for how to spend our time in Anchorage. We had only one night to spend, and we were very comfortable.... More
