I would highly recommend staying with Allen and Larry at the Wildflower. They made us feel welcome and at home as soon as we arrived. Allen's breakfast was great and he was so interesting and helpful with all our questions. The house was clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay at the Wildflower again when I return to Anchorage!... more

As the title states, no detail is overlooked at the Wlidflower. I arrived to a warm welcome from the hosts and the other guests. Everyone made me feel at home. The house, inside and out, was immaculate. My room was very comfortable; I slept like a rock. Waking up was pleasant; there was no shortage of hot water or pressure... more

Nice place to stay if you want to be close in town. A bit noisy because of frequent traffic. Overall good experience. Breakfast is great! more

This place was great! Six of us flew in from Philadelphia the night before a cruise and had a great time despite a very long day of travel. The breakfast was so good we took a copy of the recipe before we left. more

First off, the folks running the Wildflower Inn were so accomodating! I was joining a friend who had already made a reservation at the Wildflower Inn. I was arriving a day earlier than expected, and the folks running this inn reassuringly fit me right in there. How comfortable and restful after a few days of travel! And then, waking up... more

We stayed for 1 night in Wildflower Inn when we arrived at Anchorage for our 4 week holiday. Unfortunately we booked another b&b for the end of our journey when we came back to Anchorage. (we wanted some "variety" - what a mistake!) Wildflower Inn was great - in every respect! Room was wonderful (we had the Lupine Suite, which... more

This is a lovely alternative to a hotel - nice rooms are actually like suites with private bath. Breakfast is great and the hosts, Larry & Alan, are really helpful and welcoming. more

My husband and I stayed here on 3 different nights. I can't say enough kind words for this establishment. Check in was a breeze, Larry and Allan were very pleasant and knowledgeable. Larry was always there to answer questions and to give advice. Breakfast was fantastic. I loved the Finnish pancakes. The room we stayed in was the Lupine room.... more

From the original phone call about reservations, I knew I was in good hands for my first nights in Alaska. When I arrived around 10:30 p.m., Larry showed me around the b&b, described its history, and took my heavy suitcase to my downstairs room. Each morning Allan prepared an amazing egg creation for breakfast, and good coffee flowed. My friend... more

This is a good cheap alternative to the hotels in Anchorage. We stayed here specifically because we could not find a hotel in Anchorage on Tripadvisor that sounded very nice. The owners are very nice and helpful. Bathrooms are cleaned but the beds are not made. The suites are large and adequate and you get use of the living room.... more
