I spent a wonderful 3 weeks at A Wildflower Inn in Anchorage during the 2014 Iditarod. Allen and Larry were tremendous hosts. My upstairs suite was easily accessible and private. Because I was there so long, I met a number of interesting people who came to stay. If you are looking for comfort, good breakfasts, wonderful hosts and privacy, this... More

What more can I say? Great host, great breakfast, super clean, good location. I stayed here when I needed a little getaway from the family while studying for an important exam. I would easily recommend this to friends, family staying in Anchorage....and I'm a local so I think we tend to judge a little harshly! Really, I can't think of... More

This is a wonderful property . Larry and Alan were perfect hosts. The breakfast was to die for. 4 of us stayed here before starting our Alaskan Cruise. We were able to walk into town. Our rooms were great. If we ever get back to Alaska we would definitely stay here again.

My mom and I visited the Wildflower Inn twice, at the beginning and middle of a 3-week trip around Alaska. Over the course of the trip, we stayed at a number of B & Bs and hotels. Wildflower Inn was by far the best accommodation we encountered, with a beautiful, private room and bathroom, flexible and knowledgeable hosts, and an... More

We had a great time at this beautiful home located just a short walk from downtown Anchorage. The price was very fair and our stay was worth every penny we paid and more. The host was so helpful with any question we had! The rooms were so nice. I must mention that the breakfast was superb! We'll be back!

My son and I arrived in Anchorage and called Allan on short notice. He met us 15 minutes later, showed us around the accommodations, then left us on our own. The room was quiet and VERY clean, as was the bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. He had breakfast ready this morning, including fresh cut fruit, juices, coffee, tea, cereal, yogurt, different... More

The Wildflower Inn is a B&B in Larry and Allan's home in a residential neighborhood pretty conveniently located near downtown Anchorage. There is an excellent grocery store right across the street, although you won't really need it because the breakfast is wonderful. Allan made us "Wildflower eggs," which is a Spanish omelet with cheese baked in a tortilla. We wanted... More

It's not just a good B&B place to stay, friendly hosts were there waiting for you. Larry and Alan were very easy-going, and Larry cooked delicious breakfast. You could meet friends from all over the places, England, Japan and so on! We talked and shared stories during breakfast time, such an unforgettable memory! Bedroom and bathroom were very clean and... More

Our 1st night in Alaska was in the Fireweed Suite at the Wildflower Inn. Our suite was spacious and the bed was comfortable after a long day of travel. Larry and Allan were hospitable hosts and showed us where everything was and gave us a brief history of the house. The bed was very comfortable and the only downside to... More

My husband and I had to stay just one night in Anchorage before going on a week long trip. We arrived late evening, were greeted with a smile and a tour of the charming house. We stayed in a wonderful suite upstairs, with a spacious bedroom, sitting room and a private bath. Im Usually not a good sleeper, but I... More
