We stayed at the Wildflower Inn for five nights while celebrating a family Christmas in Anchorage. The downtown location was perfect for us since our son and his wife live only six blocks from the Inn. Many restaurants and markets were also within walking distance. Allan and Larry were welcoming and relaxed. They delighted us with interesting local facts and... More

We stayed at the Wildflower in Oct. We called in last minute and were lucky as it was off season. The room was very clean, comfortable and private. We had a sitting room and private bath as well. Restaurants are close by and walkable if you prefer. Allan made us eggs and toast as we requested in the morning. He... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Wildflower Inn while visiting our daughter who is working in Anchorage for the year. We happened upon this beautiful little bed and breakfast while driving to downtown Anchorage and decided to try it out, especially since the rates were quite reasonable in late September. We spent two nights in... More

I booked the Lupine Suite for our last night in Alaska several months ago, based on the charming pictures and the great reviews. We were really looking forward to our stay. The day before our scheduled arrival, we decided to leave our lodging and spend an extra day in Anchorage. I called A Wildflower Inn and spoke to Larry about... More

Wonderful 3 bedroom B&B in Anchorage, within walking distance to downtown and the train station. Larry and Allen were wonderful hosts. Giving us the grand tour as we arrived. Their home is absolutely lovely and the gardens with all the flowers are beautiful. Don't miss out on this quaint place in Alaska.

Unique B&B. Extremely helpful, booked our cab and gave us a great restaurant recommendation. We couldn't stay for breakfast, but they made us a nice "bag breakfast" with our names on each brown paper bag. Great service.

The inn is in a convenient location to downtown in a nice area. We stayed in the lovely apartment in Sunflower a block from Wildflower. Internet was available as well as a full service kitchen. Larry, the host was very personable and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed chatting with another guest couple. You will enjoy your stay!

We spent one night at the Wildlower Inn while traveling through Alaska in August 2015. Larry and Allen were excellent hosts! Very friendly, full of highly relevant suggestions for walks and restaurants in Anchorage. Downtown is just a ten minutes walk away. The neighbourhood of the Wildflower Inn is quiet. Our room was in the Basement of this beautiful house.... More

Probably the nicest hosts we've ever met. We felt super welcomed and had a great time during our stay. Good breakfasts with yummy warm dishes, good, clean rooms with a very nice bathroom. We stayed at the Lupine Room where the private bathroom was just outside our room where we also had an extra sitting room where we could store... More

I had a fabulous stay in the basement unit at Sunflower! The unit was cute, clean, and cozy. The complimentary breakfast cooked by Larry (including Reindeer Bacon, apparently an Alaskan favorite) was delicious, and gave the guests at Wildflower and Sunflower properties the opportunity to get to know one another. As a single traveler, this was very beneficial to me.... More
