We received the reduced September rates and what a bargain compared to other Anchorage places to stay! The hosts are fun to talk to and the common room was very comfortable, loved the hot chocolate and computer with internet. As long as you have a car I highly recommend staying here. more

We stayed in the Native Spirit room. It was small, but comfortable. We arrived after midnight, due to flight delays. Our key was in the mailbox, and we were able to quietly find our room, order our breakfast on the form left in our room, and collapse into our comfy bed. It was nice knowing ahead of time, that they... more

The hosts are terrific. When we arrived an hour early, the cleaning person was very warm in welcoming us despite the fact that it was an hour before check in time. Tom and Bobbie are very friendly and helpful. The location is nice is you have a car. Awesome breakfast. There is nothing wrong with the rooms, but ours was... more

I read one or two of the more recent reviews of this B&B and was a little concerned, but I have to say that there is no explanation in my mind how conditions could have changed significantly over the time since those were written up until my stay there. It seems as though some people are looking for negatives. I... more

My DH and I and our dear friends were on a trip to Anchorage before an Alaskan Cruise. We stayed three nights at the Alaskan Leopard B&B. We enjoyed our visit. My DH & I have had quite a few bed & breakfast experiences so we feel we have enough experience to make educated comments. :) The rooms are not... more

We had mixed feelings about this BnB. The gardens were beautiful and the view was really great. Bobbie was very nice and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious, but accommodations were terrible. We stayed in the Grand Alaska Suite which incorporates the Heritage room and the adjoining room. We felt both rooms wers substandard and would not be something we... more

Reading this review was especially painful. We strive in all areas of our business to offer clean, affordable, and appropriate accommodations for our travelers. Along with this level we are honored to be consistently featured as having the best breakfast in the Alaskan industry. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and this reviewer is no exception. However we would...

Tom and Bobbie do their best to make you comfortable. They are always available over email/phone (pre and post reservation). The rooms are beautifully done and cosy. The hot tubs are a plus though we did not get to use them because of lack of time. The breakfast menu was pretty elaborate and the food was awesome. The B&B offers... more

This B&B is charming and rustic with fabulous views out the back balcony. We stayed in the Heritage Room for the first night and the Native Spirit Room several days later. The Heritage Room was not bad, although I didn't have enough hot water for a shower on the first day. Because the weather was so bad we couldn't take... more

This place was fantastic! We stayed two nights at this b&b (first vacation using all b&b) and it was everything we asked for and more. Everything from the wonderful breakfasts, to the awesome landscaping which I am envious of, to the wonderful hot tubs after a nice long day trip to Denali Natl. Park or hiking, to the wonderful quilts... more

It's evident from start to finish that these are folks who've travelled a lot. They understand the travelling experience and it is reflected in everything from the website information to the beautifully appointed rooms. I had the impression that they knew just what we would need and in each case it had already been provided. I chaperoned my elderly mother... more
