This was my second stay here, and I must say I was very, very pleased with my accommodations. Breakfast was nice and simple and I even had the chance to talk with my hostess as well as the other guests, and the room was comfortable and like home. The location was very desirable and convenient to all the places I... More

We only spent one night here, but we found Donna very nice. She helped us with anything we needed. Even gave us coupons if she had it to where we were going. There is a whole separate area for the guests so it is not crowded at all. There is a room where you can sit and talk to the... More

I spent a week at Donna's Bed and Breakfast and I was very impressed with the value I received. The room and shared bathroom were incredibly clean. All of the guests that came and went while I was there were very friendly and it was alot of fun to meet people from all over the world. The breakfasts that she... More

We stayed for one night at our arrival and for two nights before leaving Alaska. The first breakfast was okay, with surdough pancakes but after experiences at other B&B's, it was rather poor. The breakfast at the end was even less. The only choice you have is 8.00 or 8.30 (or two other hours picked by Donna). Upon arrival a... More

I stayed at Donna's Bed and Breakfast, May 24-31/ 2008. I really enjoyed my stay there. The breakfasts were wonderful, hot and filling, and gave me "great" energy to start my day! It is close to the highway where the beautiful mountains sit across from water (Seward) Highway I believe! Eye Catching Scenery for sure! Donna was very helpfull and... More

Our stay with Donna was most relaxing. Even tho' our schedule was hectic, she was extremely accomodating, down to providing us with an iron and ironing board for our clothing. Our breakfasts were very enjoyable, she took great care to see we were comfortable. Thank you Donna for early morning conversation and a great meal. Your place is one we... More

We arrived at 3.30 and were told it was too early- we were welcome at 5pm when Donna's husband was awake...he works nights. This was after a drive from Fairbanks with two children! We felt very awkward but it was pre paid and only for one night afterall! We left our bags in our room which was clean but cramped... More

Of all the places I stayed in Alaska, this was my least favorite. It was fine though. It was clean and quiet with a TV, phone and fridge in the room. I definitely didn't experience the "amazing breakfasts" that others did. Mine consisted of generic Cheerios, 2 rather blah scrambled eggs, juice & coffee. I stayed there in May, when... More

We stayed in the Mt McKinley Room. It is very clean and carefully decorated. There is a phone, TV and refrigerator. We could use the PC with internet access in the living room. All the guest rooms are downstairs and the host lives upstairs. It is very quiet and we did not even notice that there were guests in the... More

Donna's B&B is exceptional value with all the comforts of home. She is located ten minutes from downtown Anchorage, so if you have a car, give her a go. She provides the most amazing breakfast, plus television, video, free internet. The best bargin in Anchorage.
