Stayed two nights with friends in June. We were in the Voyager Suite and our friends stayed in the cottage next door. It was less than ten minutes in the cab from the train station and even though we arrived after 11.00pm Marilyn the owner had left detailed instructions on where to locate the keys to our accommodation. The Voyager... More

Selected 11th Ave. B&B based off of previous reviews and the close location to the downtown area. It turned out to be a perfect choice for us over the three nights we stayed as we could do so much without ever having to deal with traffic and parking challenges. The Voyageur Suite was truly wonderful to be able to return... More

We decided to spend a couple of days in Anchorage to see what was on offer, prior to an Alaskan cruise from Seward to Vancouver. There's not a whole lot to see in Anchorage itself; you'd be better trying to see more of Alaska. But if you are in Anchorage, this is a good choice for accommodation. It is a... More

My wife and I spent two nights in the Voyager room at the B&B in early September 2014. We found it roomy and comfortable. The one breakfast that we had there was adequate. The second breakfast was a “to-go” one because we had to depart early that final day. It consisted of two hardboiled eggs, an apple, and packaged snack... More

Thanks for taking the time to submit this review. I apologize that I did not deal with the overcharge issue immediately. We were down two staff that week, very busy at the B and B, and I was spread quite thin. Your wife and I had discussed that I would deal with it by the weekend, which is what did... More

Our owner and host, Marilyn, made staying at the 11th Ave Bed and Breakfast very easy and comfortable for all. The Voyageur room is really a large suite, and was completely redone in the past year. It is very-well insulated and the new windows virtually sound-proof, so a very cozy feel inside. We were arriving close to midnight, but Marilyn... More

I stayed at the 11th Avenue Bed & Breakfast following a boat cruise to Alaska. I have done a fair bit of travelling over the years, often staying in B&Bs. Let me tell you that if this B&B is not the best of its kind, it is among the best. The place is absolutely gorgeous, the rooms are nicely decorated... More

We loved our stay at 11th Avenue Bed and Breakfast. We stayed a few days when we first arrived in Anchorage and then headed out to other sights to see in Homer and Denali. We returned to 11th Avenue between each leg. There simply wasn't a better value to be had and working with Marilyn for the first stay was... More

As someone who prefers B and B's to hotels, I have in the past been somewhat disappointed. I have never, however, been more pleasantly surprised than when I booked into the Voyageur Room at the 11th Ave B & B. The place was very roomy, modern and clean. Bed was comfortable, and the milk in the fridge, fruit/nuts on the... More

We stayed at the 11th Avenue B&B in Anchorage before our sled adventure in Denali National Park and our stay was brilliant!!! This is the second time we stay at the 11th Avenue B&B and both times have been absolutely amazing. Marilyn is an excellent host and she always makes us feel at home, the rooms are really comfortable, perfectly... More

We stayed 2 nights prior to our cruise in the Voyageur room which is really a cozy cottage off the main house. It had a bedroom, full bath, kitchen (stove off limits, but that was okay, I'm on vacation!), and living room. It accommodated 2 adults and our kids who slept on cots provided. We didn't have a chance to... More
