Almost all Hilton Garden Inns are clean, well staffed ... just plain nice places to stay for business or other "passing through for a few days," and this property is no exception. Our favorite hotel when passing through Anchorage.

We stayed here for several nights as a base from which to go exploring. The lobby itself was fun, with a huge standing brown bear almost as if to greet you near the front desk. Before we moved into Anchorage, this used to be our go-to hotel. We never had a problem with the service or the room, the pool was never crowded, and they have rooms with jacuzzi tubs. It is in midtown, which is away from all of the downtown hustle and bustle.

Well, it's leaps and bounds better than the Hampton Inn in the immediate neighborhood. The hotel is quiet. The exercise facility and pool are excellent and open 24 hours. I only travel to Anchorage once a year but after trying several properties over the years this is my new home away from home. I do stay at this chain in the lower 48 and this was my first stay at their Anchorage property. Nice, clean, and modern. Many of the Anchorage properties seem to be old and run down.... More

I end up spending a lot of travel time in ANC and this is one of my 2 preferred hotels. I feel welcome there, the rooms are nice, the staff is friendly. They have a shuttle van which is always nice and a few restaurants within walking distance. I would recommend
