I am always hesitant to book bed and breakfast stays, not knowing what you will end up with. The Mangy Moose is a very modern home and completely up to date. We stayed in the Artic Room and it was everything we hoped for and more. Comfy bed, warm room, fireplace, couch, jacuzzi, shower, his/her sinks and privacy. The breakfast... more

Sally was very friendly, accommodating, and concerned with my satisfaction. Although I arrived late and left early she made sure that coffee, muffin and juice were available to me prior to my leaving. The B&B itself is stunning, my room was large had more than what you would expect. I wish I had spent my first night here as well. more

The Mangy Moose is a real gem! We could not have been happier with our stay. Our visit started with a moose sighting right at the edge of the yard! We were there for 4 nights with my parents (stayed in 2 “standard” rooms- the Royal Alaskan, and Klondike rooms), and our stay was enjoyable and relaxing. The rooms were... more

What more could I add to the previous reviews? Sally, with her quiet and most gracious personality, coupled with the most immaculate accommodations made our two nights at the Mangy Moose a most memorable experience. We went there with friends from Germany who were as impressed as we were. We all felt so comfortable with Sally and her delightful young... more

This was my 4th time visiting the Mangy Moose, and it only seems to get better. Sally and her daughter make you feel so at home--you almost don't want to leave. Sally was kind enough to make my husband's favorite breakfast (one that we had on previous visits)coffee is always on, and the breakfast spread is fantastic. She's nice enough... more

We stayed at the Mangy Moose for 2 nights and were delighted with the comfort and ambience. The breakfasts were delicious and the warmth of the Sally, the owner, was great. Our room was very comfortable with access to a wrap around deck. It is quite apparent from the amount of repeat guests that the high ratings given the Mangy... more

Sally met us as we drove up the laneway and made sure we were comfortable and had everything. There were laundry facilities available; one could access tea or coffee up until 10 pm; morning coffee was available at 7 am, breakfast at 8:30 am - which was great. We stayed in the Beary Patch Room - kitchenette, TV, 1 separate... more

First off, the owner is a darling, always looking to make your stay pleasant. Each room is very pleasant, equipped with flat screens and the latest DVD players. Ours was not the biggest one of the B&B but there was enough space for a large table. Beds are huge and mattresses very comfortable. The location is remote (in the woods)... more

We booked three rooms last year. My daughter was 6 months old at the time, and the owner was very accommodating (even had a crib & high chair). The rooms were comfortable. Breakfasts were good too. The owner also gave us helpful tips on activities and dining. more
