This place is delightful. The room was beautifull decorated and comfortable, the bathroom was large, spotless and had all amenities. The inn as a whole is quite elegant. Try not to miss breakfast, it's delicious - the best we had in Alaska. The location is about 15 minutes from downtown and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the President's Room which was an upgrade from where we were booked to stay and that was a bonus. The other rooms were smaller so I can't vouch for them. But we met people who had stayed there before and come back again and again. All the guests we spoke with were very pleased. The home is elegant and well-appointed. The dining room and breakfast service are first class. The grounds are well-kept and inviting. They have a library that is an added feature. The hostess is gracious and friendly. We would definitely stay there again and would not hesitate to recommend it. It is a ways out from the city, but conveniently located off the Seward Highway. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. more
