Originally inquired on staying at the Wildflower Inn, but was offered to stay at their other property the Arctic Fox Inn for a stay one week after on season ended. We were offered a one bedroom studio suite, which was informed had been completely remodeled recently with a good nightly rate and took up that offer. Arrived at 10:30 p.m.... More

Dear Travelers: As you stated in your review, "We missed it on this one." My sincere apologies go to you for the lack of attention you received. The owners, Larry and Allan, are wonderfully accommodating and hospitable, but my leaving town at the end of high season was, apparently, not well orchestrated on our part. I trust that the beauty... After arriving in Anchorage at 5.30am we were able to check-in much earlier than advertised. Carol was a wonderful host, so accommodating and friendly. The Inn is close to everything in town yet far enough that you don't feel inundated with tourists at the front door. Our room was sparklingly clean and the shower brilliant. Breakfasts were different every day... More

The Arctic Fox is a clean and comfortable place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient to the museums and attractions that we wanted to see. One of the best breakfasts we had in Alaska.

Glad I found this while searching for hotels near downtown Anchorage in our recent September 2014 visit. This one is a gem. Very conveniently located within a short walking distance to downtown. We actually stayed in Anchorage on 2 separate occasions during our Alaska trip. The first time we had the studio apartment downstairs which features a full kitchen and... More

This was a great find in our search for accomodation in Anchorage which was reasonable priced and close to the centre of town. We visited Anchorage for 2 nights prior to joining a cruise down the Alaskan coastline. We arrived in Anchorage from the US very late at night and had contacted the B&B to let them know of our... This was our first impression of Alaska and it was an excellent one. Good location, very clean, comfortable, spacious room and excellent value. Very welcoming after a long flight. We got in very late but there was no problem with access to our room. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice. Carol and team were very helpful and friendly. We thoroughly... More

Great find! Stayed 2 nights and we had a car-so there was parking-easy to find and close to downtown even though we actually did not go downtown at all while there. Breakfast was a highlight! Wonderful cooked egg casserole, hot muffins, juice, coffee, fruit. such a selection! Very pretty dining area-interesting friendly guests and hosts. Sorry we had an early flight and... More

On the far east of town, the Arctic Fox is a B&B with small but comfortable rooms and a lavish breakfast buffet that misses nothing. One can chat with guests in a large family room. Ask for a room away from the trains and you won't hear a thing. The only drawback is confronting the proprietress on a day when... More

We spent two nights at the Arctic Fox, July 27, 28, 2014. We had a spacious common area in a two-bedroom suite. Breakfast was hardy, carmelized french toast with apples one morning, a vegetarian quiche the next, with all the fixings - sausage, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastry. Very clean rooms, and good privacy even in a two bedroom suite.... More
