Stayed at Alaskan Frontier Gardens B & B end of June 09. What a wonderful peaceful location. Up in the hills above Anchorage. Rita has a wonderful welcoming home and her garden and yard are beautiful. The setting is really peaceful. Her home is very well kept and her hospitality is wonderful. The breakfast is in her dining room and... more

Had a really wonderful stay at Alaskan Frontier Gardens B&B. The house is gorgeous with a huge Alaskan art collection. I love the beautiful garden. We had a most gracious host and lively discussions of Alaskan life. Our breakfast was excellent with reindeer sausages and waffles. We had a really good time specially with an upgraded room on our return... more

awesome B&B !! Rita is the hostest from heaven, addressing your every need! We stayed in the "Ivory Suite". We had a HUGE Jacuzzi tub, bidet, COMFRONTABLE king bed, dry sauna, his/her recliners in front of a TV/Fireplace, fridge, his/her sinks and a working "jukebox". I have uploaded some photos of our stay. more

My husband and I visited Alaska last summer and had made it a habit of never staying at bed and breakfasts due to past experiences. We decided to give it another try and stayed at Alaskan Frontier Gardens for 3 nights. WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT! Rita was the BEST host and made our stay very memorable! She was... more

I have never stayed at a Bed&Breakfast before. I was so pleastantly surprised by the whole experience that I have already booked another trip this year to go back to Alaska and stay my entire stay at the Alaskan Frontier Gardens, this time bringing guests. The accomodations were beautiful inside and out. I enjoyed the local flavors at breakfast time,... more

I spent about 20 nights total at Alaska Frontier Gardens this winter.... everyone of them was enjoyable. The home is absolutely beautiful! I loved the Alaska museum feel, the decor, and the hospitality. Rita is wonderful and extremely accomodating! There were even evenings I was delivered warm cookies to the room!! I loved the decorations during Christmas time.... the hot... more

Rita's B&B has been my home away from home for more than a decade now. It's a place to create wonderful memories along your journey. Rita's hospitality cannot be matched. Nor can the authenticity of her Alaskan decor, her wonderful home-made breakfast cuisine, and the physical comforts she provides for you as she makes her home… your home. Alaska Frontier... more

We stayed at the B& B for 2 weeks and never tired of the scenary or company. We throughly enjoyed the homemade breakfast and the international company. We saw moose and fox from the dining room. We had a great time and Rita is a Fantastic hostess. more

I spent two nights at Alaska Frontier Gardens. Even though the B & B was full both nights, my room was wonderfully quiet and my bed just perfect. I tend to not sleep well away from home, but I got a great night sleep. The lodge-like architecture of the house is both charming and very good for absorbing sound. There... more
