We found the best price for this hotel on Priceline. We got it on a blind bid and got it for under $50 for the night. The hotel usually has good service, clean rooms, a pool, free Wi-Fi and a light breakfast. Its a great value for the price.

This hotel is located a short walk from basically everything downtown (e.g. the convention center is on 7th, just about 6 blocks away or something, and it's right across from the Anchorage Museum). The rooms are generally fine--about average noise. You do have to ask for any kitchen appliances or utensils that you want. They don't clean the room every... More

Great job these guys and gals are doing. Have stayed here for 6 months this year and their customer service is top notch! Good location next to the Moose's Tooth and several other restaurants. Good coffee and snacks for breakfast when you wake up as well.

was able to get this room last minute for a great price on priceline. The location worked great for us. We only stayed 1 night. Son was able to get rid of some extra energy by swimming and exercising. Pizza was a phone call away. Quick grab and run for breakfast. Had coffee available from the time we arrived to... More

Here is the skinny: Hotel is an average, basic hotel. Keep in mind, for whatever reason, decent hotels go for $200 plus a night in downtown Anchorage. This was about $100 - so it was fine. No frills: Basic sparsely decorated room..... Parking is odd - but again as a first timer to Anchorage, things are oddly laid out in... More

The hotel is in a fantastic spot. One block away from the Anchorage Museum (which is totally worth going) and a short 5-7 minutes walk to the main downtown streets, 4th and 5th. The room is quite big, the only problem we had with the hotel is that it wasn't very clean. We had to change rooms because the one... More

We spent one night in this hotel and it was not relaxing or restful. The rooms are old and need updating, I really didn't even want to sleep on the sheets they were so threadbare. The best part was the fire alarms that went off twice during the night causing us to evacuate, and never did a hotel employee let... More

Location was not right in center of downtown, but a few blocks away, quite walkable and safe. Staff was welcoming. Room was large with kitchenette. Room was very clean and in good repair. Hotel offers free airport pickup, free wifi, and free grab and go breakfast. I stayed one night before a cruise just at the end of the season.... More

It's within 3-4 blocks of most of the government offices in downtown Anchorage. A pretty basic hotel, clean and quiet. although I wasn't there for an "extended" stay, I can see where it would be good for someone who was spending a week or longer in downtown.

For nearly $200 per night, this hotel is too expensive for what you get. The location is not ideal - away from downtown and restaurants. My room was spacious, but it had bad smell from some kind of detergent and shabby look/feel. I booked a room for 8 days for a conference, but I checked out of this hotel after... More
