Here is the skinny: Hotel is an average, basic hotel. Keep in mind, for whatever reason, decent hotels go for $200 plus a night in downtown Anchorage. This was about $100 - so it was fine. No frills: Basic sparsely decorated room..... Parking is odd - but again as a first timer to Anchorage, things are oddly laid out in... More

The hotel is in a fantastic spot. One block away from the Anchorage Museum (which is totally worth going) and a short 5-7 minutes walk to the main downtown streets, 4th and 5th. The room is quite big, the only problem we had with the hotel is that it wasn't very clean. We had to change rooms because the one... More

We spent one night in this hotel and it was not relaxing or restful. The rooms are old and need updating, I really didn't even want to sleep on the sheets they were so threadbare. The best part was the fire alarms that went off twice during the night causing us to evacuate, and never did a hotel employee let... More

Location was not right in center of downtown, but a few blocks away, quite walkable and safe. Staff was welcoming. Room was large with kitchenette. Room was very clean and in good repair. Hotel offers free airport pickup, free wifi, and free grab and go breakfast. I stayed one night before a cruise just at the end of the season.... More

It's within 3-4 blocks of most of the government offices in downtown Anchorage. A pretty basic hotel, clean and quiet. although I wasn't there for an "extended" stay, I can see where it would be good for someone who was spending a week or longer in downtown.

For nearly $200 per night, this hotel is too expensive for what you get. The location is not ideal - away from downtown and restaurants. My room was spacious, but it had bad smell from some kind of detergent and shabby look/feel. I booked a room for 8 days for a conference, but I checked out of this hotel after... More

our room was pretty nasty. dirty dishes in the sink, trash on the very worn carpet. the pool had lots of scum on it. the bed and pillows were cardboard. the best part about the hotel was that it was pretty close to down town and somewhat low in price (for anchorage)

I paid over $200 a night which is common in the downtown area in the summer but should have checked reviews first. The only positive is the room was big, like an apartment, but the bathroom was not next to the bedroom which was weird. Needs a good cleaning desperately, the room and the whole building. Noisy, can hear everything,... More

Service was non existent. I know it's not a 5 star hotel but the hotel desk clerk should know the address. Or a cab company phone number. Cleanliness isn't at the top of this hotels list. Room - The headboards were dusty, the corners of the rooms were piled with dust. The bathtub wasn't clean. If the window wasn't open,... More

It was one of my worst stay in a hotel room. I took this hotel because I needed to be sure that I will get two beds, what I previously booked and pre-paid. But when I arrived at this hotel in the afternoon athey gave me a room with only a bed, I asked to have a room with two... More
