We stayed here 3 nights after spending 3 nights in homer. The cabins are very, comfortable beds with some of the best sheets I have ever sleep on. Note the Cabins are made very well but they are not finished on the inside, there is just plywood up right now but that was no big deal to us since we... More

The views are breathtaking, we were watching bears up on the nearby mountain with binoculars. The staff and owners are beyond accommodating. They have everything you need, including propane (the only available place to fill for miles). They have sites on small lakes, and a stream. The facilities are very clean and nice. The uniqueness is a large gazebo type... More

What a great rv park. Spacious with full hookups. Lots a room in each spot. Fire rings and picnic tables. Amazing views! Family owned and operated. Scott and Tammy are the best hosts! Oh and don't forget Wyatt. What a cutie pie he is! Lots of things to do in the areas like portage glacier and visitor center. Canoeing on... More

We had been in Alaska for 6 days when we found this hidden oasis of a campground. If you are anywhere in the area looking for a place to stay, PULL IN. They have wonderful hook up sites, primitive sites and cabins. Tim and Scott were wonderful and made us feel right at home. We will be back.

Stayed here on our way to Homer - didn't want to stay in Anchorage so pushed a little further and find this gem. Very glad we did. It was very spacious, had a very nice grilling area with picnic table and a big campfire area for people to gather around and mingle. Free DVD movies that we could borrow and... More

We first visited last year and found the site most charming and saw two moose walking across the site.We found the staff helpful and pleasant. So on our return to Alaska this year we revisited the site. They have made a few improvements and I believe more are in the pipeline. the sites are level . We got a good... More

We have been on the road for 8 weeks - a new site every day or two and BY FAR this was the MOST PERECT RV site we have stayed at. Tim was wonderful about making us as comfortable as possible. The grounds are pristine and the wooded area around it shows off the true beauty of Alaska. The covered... More

First off, I think this is the only RV park with hookup near the Girdwood/Portage/Whittier area. So I am very glad we found this one. This is our children's favorite RV park of the Alaska trip. Here are the pros: 1. There is a really nice and big campfire area that people gather and chat. 2. The host is very... More

We stayed here for 1 night. Clean park, surrounded by stunning mountains and glaciers. Creeks on both sides of the park. We took a drive up towards the mountains and got the most amazing pictures. We also found a spot about a mile away that is know for salmon viewing. We took a very small hike to a tiny waterfall... More

As resident of Alaska we usually camp remotely, but rented the #5 cabin here and it was PERFECT! Everything we needed was stocked. The beds were comfortable. The place was clean and cozy! The grounds were quiet at night and the staff amazing, friendly, professional and welcoming. The location is central to Whittier, alyeska, wildlife conservation center and trout fishing... More
