This family owned and operated parks is one of the best kept secrets. Clean, safe, quiet, and best of all has a campfire pavillion. Often live music. Good old fashion family fun where everyone is welcome. You may arrive as a stranger but you will leave as friend. New water lines and lots of clean power! Nature at its best... More

We had read all the terrible reviews of RV parks in Anchorage and decided to head here for our first night. We were so glad we did! The drive down along Turnagain Arm was incredible and we pulled in around 6.00 pm after getting all our supplies in Anchorage. The owner was very welcoming and told us to park anywhere... More

We loved this campground! Nice location close to Whittier and beautiful setting. We stayed here before our day cruise out of Whittier and since it continued to rain after our cruise we stayed a second night as they have a wonderful sheltered campfire. We roasted hot dogs and smores' all while it was pouring down rain! There are two showers... More

We stayed there twice in our RV on a recent trip. We tried finding an RV park in Anchorage, but they were so bad, we decided to drive the extra 50 miles to get there. We had read about it somewhere (maybe in the Milepost) and it said they only had electricity and a place to get water, which was... More

We saw this place online before we travelled and were not very impressed but ended up stopping here by chance on a rainy night. The cabins are fairly basic but you would not expect more for the money. What made the stay really enjoyable was the lovely communal area with a big fire and barbecues, and the very friendly and... if you like to stay in natural surroundings with mountains up close and personal, with basic amenities in a rustic cabin (or RV), this place is for you. The cabin was clean, rustic and also has a loft (kids loved it). Bathrooms are shared as in a campground with Portapotty and spacious shower rooms with hot water. There is a... More

Found this RV park late in the evening on the road to Whittier. It is true that the RV sites are plain, but the view is quite grand! The fire pit hut is fantastic and the camp site manager was so nice and hospitable. Highly recommend it!

Wonderful little campground with most accommodating hosts!! We stayed in cabin #4 which was decorated so cute for a cabin on a campground! Sheets and towels were provided. Outhouse was right next to our cabin and kept clean and hot showers were available next door as well. Would have been nice to have a sink either in the cabin or... More

The Word “EUREKA” The expression “Eureka” is used to show how one has discovered the answer to a problem or has found something This word is exactly how we found this gem of a campground. THE PROBLEM: As we left Denali to head south me and my fellow RV mates were sent forward by the rest of the group to... More

Sites are a little plain (main area is just sites next to each other with nothing in between). But everything worked (including the Internet). I believe they did have a dump and fill station). One really nice thing they do is they have a open gazebo (about 8 sided and 5 of the sides have firewood stacked up so not... More
