We stayed here for 2 separate nights and had terrible experience both the nights. The first night, the bed was filthy, had hair all over it. The rooms are old & dingy. The walkways are filthy!!!!! On the second night, the room was just as bad & to add to it the heater wouldn't shut off!!! The manager is rude... more

The hotel is near the airport and a shuttle is available. The room was quite large but was in need of a good cleaning. There was trash under the beds and the carpet needed cleaning. Our room was a non-smoking room but the level right below us was smoking. People would go out on their balcony to smoke and the... more

We were bumped from a late night flight out of Anchorage and the next flight was not until the next night. The Best Value Inn-Executive Suites Hotel manager was most gracious in allowing us the use of the hotel lounge for most of the next day even after we had checked out. The courtesy van to the airport was also... more

The decor in the room was dated, but it was clean, spacious and a a fabulous price for what you get. The continental breakfast was good too. The only weird thing was that the couch in our room had been removed and in its place was a mattress on the floor. It was okay since we only stayed one night,... more

While this place might seem a little quirky to your typical tourists it works very well for Alaskans. We got a very reasonable high season rate, and they included 2 weeks of free parking and two prompt and friendly wee hours airport pick-ups for an extra $10 over our single night, single room rate. The suites are small and shabby,... more

This place is by no means luxury, but it was clean and safe. I booked through priceline for about $125 for the 1 night I was there. That was about $10 less than booking it direct. Now, it is way overpriced, but so is every other hotel/motel in Anchorage. e.g...3 star hotels going for $225/night downtown. The room was spacious... more

I spent one night here on both the front and back ends of a camping trip. Considering I was sleeping on the ground in a tent the rest of my 2 week stay in Alaska, I found the Exec Suites very comfortable, albeit a little beat up. The comments made by the other reviewers on the rooms are accurate. I... more

I received this hotel as a 2-star selection from Priceline. Ouch. Just lost a lot of faith in Priceline on this one. As previous posters have noted, this hotel is old and dirty, and is not worth saving a few bucks. Trust me, I am a thrifty person, so I am willing to sacrifice to save a couple dollars. This... more

This hotel is a run down dodgy motel. We had made a reservation by phone to spend our last night before going home to be near the airport. We had been fishing in Homer and had our frozen halibut and salmon to take home. I asked if they had a freezer to accomodate our fish and they said yes. I... more

We stayed in a ground floor room. I couldn't advise anyone to stay there no matter what the price! It was a cold night and we had to wait a long time to get someone to help us turn the heat on. He then told us we were "sissies." There was an overstuffed chair with the stuffing coming out and... more
