It never got dark. You can get 11:30 pm tee times. Jogging trails, Sleeping Lady Brewery. Lots of day trips or weekend trips. Elmendorf Air Base right there with a continuous air show. Hotel was great. They deal with tourists all the time, they will lioke you, you will like them. They have a 4 star fitness center too more

First of all I'm a travel agent. I did not stay free. I was booked with Princess Cruises on a land/cruise tour. The hotel is great. The room was large. It was very clean and comfortable. The bedding was great. The view was very good. Shopping and dining was very close. I cannot find fault with anything. Great stay. more

I thought this Hilton was completely acceptable and up to Hilton Standards. I only stayed for one night but the location is great. If you arrive by train you can walk from the train station (albeit it is up a hill, 2 blocks). If you arrive by plane the Hilton and all its subsidiaries offer a free shuttle to and... more

From reviews and photos we were unsure of staying here. We were on a Holland America tour but arrived a day early. On check in I immediately asked for our room to be changed to the Anchorage tower (because I read tripadvisor faithfully) and they happily made the change for us. The room was beautiful, clean, comfortable...what more can you... more

We did not take an alaskan cruise, however we did use a travel that books quite a few cruises. She gushed about the fabulous update, she got by moving us to the Hilton. The bell staff was outstanding. But the rest of the staff was ok at best. There's much better places to stay in Anchorage, a couple on one... more

The only reason we stayed at this hotel was we were told by our travel agent, this was part of our cruise package. ( Needless to say we'll be firing our travel agent). Nothing about the Hilton justified the 400.00 per night, even if it did include being shutteled to our cruise ship. The room was very small, and even... more

As with others, I was anxious about staying at this property. We were assigned here as part of our land-trip following a wonderful cruise. People on tripadvisor, and our tour guide who said she was surprised that our cruiseline would book this hotel (she recommended the Captain Cook) made me anxious that our last night would be our worst. Reality... more

This is roughly the equivalent of a motel 6. Not sure where the previous reviewers stayed but it could not have been this Hilton. Dirty, stinks like rotten eggs, thin towels , cheap bedding. Very tiny rooms - like an inside stateroom on carnival cruise line. more

I stayed at the Hilton Anchorage in May of 2009, and was really nervous and skeptical about the reservation after reading the horrible reviews, but I kept an open mind and am so glad I did not change my reservation. The hotel staff were wonderful, and very accommodating. There was a bit of a issue with the air conditioner (I... more

The Hilton Anchorage I stayed in is very different than the one people have written about below. The hotel is undergoing a complete renovation, and I stayed in the Anchorage tower which is finished. The room was in excellent condition; the soft goods were new; the view was spectacular. I called for a robe, and it was brought right up.... more
