Stayed there in June 2015 for five nights on business. A very good business hotel. Strong, dependable wifi access. A good breakfast buffet every morning. I was most impressed by the bell staff and valets. They work had and a very friendly. One thing business travelers must consider during the Alaska cruise season--this hotel is either a beginning, end or... More

I stayed in Hilton Anchorage in June for about a week. The room was clean, quite and well served. The hotel staff (Ayse) was friendly and extremely helpful. Good location; however be aware that no convenience or grocery store nearby. Luckily, the hotel gift shop provides some drinks and essential items.

My husband and I spent our first two nights in Alaska at the Anchorage Hilton. We frequently stay in Hotels in the Hilton chain because of their standard for quality and elegance. However, we were significantly disappointed in the condition of our room. The wallpaper was peeling everywhere, walls were dingy, rug was dirty, bathroom exceptionally small, although the bedding... The hotel itself is good, not great. It's within walking distance to all the bars and restaurants in the downtown area. The wifi is fast, staff is friendly, Starbucks in the lobby, gift shop/convenience store inside as well as a restaurant. My room was clean and in good shape. The blackout curtains were very helpful for a visit during the... More

Our room was very small and disappointing but the hotel was centrally located. We arrived late the first day and just wanted to eat in the hotel but found that the restaurant is not open for dinner and you had to eat in a small, crowded bar. The next day we explored around the town and found other restaurant options... More

All hotels in Anchorage during tourist season nail the customer hard in the wallet and there is no getting around it. Not only is the stay expensive but then the parking downtown is over the top. Valet is the only thing available at the hotel at 24 bucks and the parking lots were even more off site. The hotel itself... More

Not typical experience from check in to room cleanliness. hurried, short - staffed. Room was not clean (only bed made), but problem solved with immediate call to housekeeping. Old facility. Bed was awesome. Location to downtown is perfect. Breakfast buffet is as good as Embassy Suites if not better. Checkout with Sani was the level of service Hilton is known... More

Solo traveller staying for a conference. I've stayed in perhaps 2 dozen Hiltons all over the world and this one is perhaps one of the poorest values that I've experienced. We had a conference rate of $180/night (no breakfast included), and I think this represents a poor value for the overall state of the hotel. Friendly desk staff, "mostly friendly"... More
