We stayed here one night at the end of our 3-week Alaska trip. The innkeepers were very hospitable and the Garden Efficiency apartment where we stayed (one of 2 apartments available at the site) was cheery, bright, beautifully furnished, homey, extremely well organized and very clean. It had its own entrance, so was very private. It was well equipped with everything a traveler needs, including a fridge and cabinet stocked with breakfast items (milk, cereal, waffles, eggs, bread, yogurt, juices, coffee), note paper and writing utensils, shampoo, hand cream, even a first aid kit, in addition to all other expected items. The owners were very hospitable and even let us use their garage and tools as needed to pack our mountain bikes into our cases for our return home. The laundry room was available to guests for a small price. The room price was also very reasonable; we wished we could have stayed longer and would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly to others. The location... more
