We stayed here for one night in August as an extended family, primarily to visit the town of Sainte Mere Eglise and the historical sites around the area. The hotel itself is in a great location, literally just a five minute walk to the main square in SME with plenty of parking on site. The rooms are spacious enough, with... More

Room was average size I would expect for a budget hotel, it was clean, bathroom work and also clean. Shutters worked at night to ensure complete darkness which I liked. Stayed here for couple of nights and met the criteria I needed, good big car park, lots of space to sit around and chat at the bar or play pool... More

We were put here by our breakdown insurers (RAC) after our camper van broke down in France. It's pretty grim, although the receptionist was doing her best to be welcoming. The concrete rooms are tiny and very tired looking. We had a terrible night's sleep. Breakfast was usual budget buffet. It could do with pulling down and starting again. On... More

Despite being close to a busy road and resembling portacabins on touch of each other, this hotel is delightful. The staff couldn't be more helpful, rooms are smart, clean and comfortable and far enough from the road to be quiet. The dinner menu was excellent and perfectly cooked with a wide choice and a splendid Hors d"hoevre buffet and the... More

We chose this mainly on location and price, as we were a group of 10 cyclists plus support crew of 2 in a car. Doesn't look welcoming from the outside but how wrong can you be. First off we asked about somewhere safe to store our bikes - we were given their conference room! Good start. The staff as has... More

due to Brittany Ferries cancelling our crossing (quite a common occurrence) we found ourselves outside Cherbourg with nowhere to stay except to sleep in the car. At 2200hrs we thought a hotel unlikely but drove past this hotel on our way to the port. For 67euros we got a twin room. desk staff were so nice. we didn't expect much... More

I stayed here to visit the Normandy WWII coast line and this hotel was the perfect solution. It is a basic hotel, but it is quite good for visiting the region! The food in the restaurant was very nice!!

Not much choice of accom in this little town but this hotel was fine for one night as a base to drive to Utah and Omaha beaches. Small village, walkable from the hotel - 500m. Welcomed warmly on arrival by the receptionist. The bed and room were small but had a flat screen TV, go figure! Dated furniture but the... More

We stayed here on the first night of five nights, exploring the D-Day beaches and surrounding histories. The hotel is situated close to the main road and right on the edge of the town of Saint Mere Eglise, which is right at the heart of the D Day story. The hotel was clean and tidy, staff very welcoming and the... More

Nice hotel within walking distance of st mere eglise. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were very helpful and courteous. The rooms were quite basic but good value for the cost of an overnight stay.
