My wife and I last visited Normandy in 1988. I spent considerable time reading the travel reviews before and after our most recent visit. There is little that I can add to reviews such as Janna B's from Atlanta. While our visits overlapped in June 2015 I would like to not only add that yes Vivian and Rodolphe were outstanding... More

My husband and I, plus our three teenaged children aged 19, 18, and 16, stayed for three nights at La Fiere in June 2015. We loved our spacious bedroom in which five of us slept very comfortably. Warm showers were no problem in our beautiful, modern bathroom (even with three teenagers!). We enjoyed sharing delicious breakfasts in the morning with... More

My husband, sister, brother-in-law, and I stayed here for two nights where we thoroughly enjoyed the warm hospitality of Vivian and Rodolphe. Their home is warm and inviting and the large homemade breakfasts were absolutely delicious. This B&B is surrounded by beautiful countryside that played a role in the Normandy battles and is across the road from a memorial park... More

My wife and I recently spent two nights at this wonderful B&B where we were treated with genuine hospitalty and friendship. Because of travel delays we did not arrive until around 7:30 p.m. Notwithstanding, our hosts Vivian and Rodolphe greeted us warmly, showed is to our lovely room and made reservations at a nearby family restaurant where we enjoyed one... Just wanted to say thanks again. We really enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home. We truly appreciate the care and attention you give to honoring the events of the past and the veterans who walked those sacred grounds. You both do a wonderful job. I look forward to seeing you guys again the next time we're in town. Oh,... More

Yes, it is a beautiful place, ideally situated from a historical perspective. However, I did not stay...and I won't stay in the future. On a recent trip to Normandy I had the opportunity to approach Mr. Rodolphe to inquire about making a reservation. Ms. Vivian observing the conversation approached, interrupted, questioned my bona fides and indicated she wasn't interested. I... More

La Fiere B&B is a quaint place to stay on the historic drop zone and across the street from the Iron Mike memorial. I was part of a 10-person team who stayed with Vivian and Rodolphe for D-Day 71 week. The B&B is conveniently located between the different ceremony locations making it easy for the team and perfect for jump... More

Rodolphe and Vivian should be commended for their efforts. I truly enjoyed my stay at the B&B during the 71st Commeration of D-Day, and being in their home, which is a living piece of history made the experience even better. Helpful, honest and truly passionate are only a few words I could think of to descripe them. They're a lovely... More

I can't say enough great things about this B & B. Vivian and Rodolphe were the perfect hosts. We started each morning with a delicious and varied home cooked breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms more than adequate. It is located about 3 km from Sainte Mère Eglise. The crowning jewel is the La Fiere Bridge which is... More

This is an exceptional B & B. The rooms are lovely, the bed very comfortable and the house is kept immaculate. The breakfasts are fresh, ample and delicious. As others have noted, Rodolphe makes the best hot chocolate. The location could not be better, very convenient. If you decide to stay, be sure to review the house rules as you... More
