Peaceful and attractive setting - we had a very good sized room facing the town square. No TV, which might bother some people but didn't us. Delicious breakfast, with coffee refill offered. Charming and friendly owner and staff. I would definitely go back.

We stayed at this marvellous hotel while cycling the Pyrenees from Atlantic to Med. The service was excellent, and the hotel is authentically French and very comfortable. We enjoyed a fine evening meal in the hotel restaurant. Seix is a lovely town, and for cyclists within easy distance of the picturesque Col d'Agnes. We have no hesitation in recommending the... More

We got to the Auberge after a long day riding through the mountains and the welcome was very appreciated. Evey effort was made to help us including secure parking for our motorcycles. The rooms are nicely done, simple elegant and rustic - not too over the top but exactly what we look for in this price range. The food was... More

It's a year since we last visited, in which time the owners have changed. Still a nice terrace and a friendly welcome, but the menu has changed, for the worse we thought. Prices have gone up, and portions have got bigger, though that's not necessarily for the best...there's definitely an aspiration to refined cuisine, but it doesn't quite work -... More

A group of us stayed at this hotel which is a perfect base to ride from. The mountains surrounding this small town provide everything from easy rides to serious climbs. To get the day started breakfast is simple but just what you need before heading out for the day. Evening meals are excellent, providing great quality food and substantial portions.Accomodation... A lovely position on the town square in Seix, with a pleasant terrace. We had the menu du jour at E12 and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and attention to detail - everything was very fresh, especially salad etc, real fried potatoes, a homely meat dish and a very good home-made tart selection for dessert. Great service. A very... More

This hotel is situated in the centre of the small town of Seix with plenty of parking space. The room was tastefully renovated to maintain the traditional charmof the french country while offering all the modern comfort factors of en-suite facilities. The food in the restaurant was very good. What you order is what you get without all the sauces... More

The Aubgerge du Haut Salat is on the main square in the small town of Seix in the Ariege region of the French Pyrenees. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and constantly work to keep their busy restaurant and hotel running smoothly and to the enjoyment of guests. The owners have spent time and effort renovating the building. Our room was... More
