The hotel is in a great central location. Our room was on the front with a balcony overlooking the square. The room was big and clean with plenty of character, wooden floors and a fire place. Wifi in the room was fast and reliable. Staff were friendly and efficient. We only stayed one night but we will definitely be back.

We stayed here 3 nights before a hiking trip. It is an great place, a very pleasant old building. The rooms have wooden floors, lots of character, and are tastefully decorated. We ate in the restaurant, it was delicious. Breakfast was good also. Only slight negative was noise from the terrasse and from people playing boules in the park opposite.... More

Seix is far from the madding crowd, a delight where you can watch the trout in the river below, or the soaring pyrenees above. Large quaint but comfortable rooms, with generous sizes. Good homecooked food w local ingredients. I was fed up with euro clone boring, tasteless & colourless hotels. This is a gem. BTW, don't forget the fantastic local... More

After 3 weeks of very average French cuisine we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. Salad Marina was magnificent with pan fried herb crusted scallops and giant prawns. Lamb with maple syrup sauce was pink and tender and the rump steak with salad was very tasty, tender and filling. Don't forget a side serve of pomme... More

Peaceful and attractive setting - we had a very good sized room facing the town square. No TV, which might bother some people but didn't us. Delicious breakfast, with coffee refill offered. Charming and friendly owner and staff. I would definitely go back.

We stayed at this marvellous hotel while cycling the Pyrenees from Atlantic to Med. The service was excellent, and the hotel is authentically French and very comfortable. We enjoyed a fine evening meal in the hotel restaurant. Seix is a lovely town, and for cyclists within easy distance of the picturesque Col d'Agnes. We have no hesitation in recommending the... We got to the Auberge after a long day riding through the mountains and the welcome was very appreciated. Evey effort was made to help us including secure parking for our motorcycles. The rooms are nicely done, simple elegant and rustic - not too over the top but exactly what we look for in this price range. The food was... More

It's a year since we last visited, in which time the owners have changed. Still a nice terrace and a friendly welcome, but the menu has changed, for the worse we thought. Prices have gone up, and portions have got bigger, though that's not necessarily for the best...there's definitely an aspiration to refined cuisine, but it doesn't quite work -... More

A group of us stayed at this hotel which is a perfect base to ride from. The mountains surrounding this small town provide everything from easy rides to serious climbs. To get the day started breakfast is simple but just what you need before heading out for the day. Evening meals are excellent, providing great quality food and substantial portions.Accomodation... A lovely position on the town square in Seix, with a pleasant terrace. We had the menu du jour at E12 and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and attention to detail - everything was very fresh, especially salad etc, real fried potatoes, a homely meat dish and a very good home-made tart selection for dessert. Great service. A very... More
