We stayed in this hotel in july 2014. The restaurant was very nice. I had a trout and it was delicious. Very friendly staff. We had a small studio appartment just the other side of the street. It was big enough for a couple and a kid.

Loved this place in the beautiful setting of the Valley of Ustou. It's wonderful hosts Philip and Robert go out of their way to make you feel at home. Philip's excellent culinary skills and attention to detail along with Robert's wine expertise and very helpful nature combine to make a very enjoyable stay. It's set in an ideal location for... What a magnificent hotel. The restaurant is fantastic with many choices and all a bit different from most restaurants. The Hotel is gradually being renovated and improved since it changed hands in early 2014 so currently the rooms are fine though not luxurious. What we look for is a comfortable bed (which they were) and ample space in the bedrooms... More

Philippe and Robert made us feel thouroughly welcome from start to finish. A stunning location and rooms in keeping with the age of the building. Evenings on the terrace especially enjoyable after a day in the mountains. The food was of a very high standard, dishes were prepared specially to suit our interests and the local wines blended to provide... More

Philip and Robert are doing a brilliant job at the Auberge. The rooms are very simple but adequate and clean, and the dining areas and terrace are just beautiful and they do very good French food. The Auberge is in a tiny hamlet with pretty much nothing else in a beautiful area with so many walks to do, and other... More

This hotel is miles from anywhere, in a very beautiful part of the Pyrenees. Ideal for walkers (we left our car with them for three days while we backpacked some of the high-level walks). Friendly & effortlessly multi-lingual Flemish owners, whose cooking is not to be faulted.

At the confluence of two babbling mountain rivers, and in the heart of excellent walking country. Easily accessible with good parking. The highlight is the beautiful terrace where meals etc are served; the bedroom was small and very hot (in the attic!) - a bit tight for anyone tall, especially the bathroom. Clean and friendly; breakfast was unspectacular but fine... More
