We booked a room at this bed and breakfast for 1 night so that we could catch the ferry early in the morning. The room that I booked is not the room we got. I had been told that we would have room 1 which is their largest interior room. We were put in room 4 and when I tried... More

I had a great first-time ever visit to Seattle, staying at Pensione Nichols B&B for 8 nights (business & vacation). I stayed in room #5, one of the rooms that shares 2 full baths and one half-bath. First of all, the B&B is located in a fantastic location - can't get any closer to Pike's unless you wanted to sleep... More

We were looking for a place near Pike Place Market. What a find! It was like we were staying in some European hotel. Very basic, simple rooms, clean, functional. No TV. The absolute only thing that might be drawback to some travelers is that our room was on the 3rd floor and no elevator for getting luggage up the stairs.... More

Price and location are great. In exchange for saving money, you give up windows and bathrooms in your room. If you have to depart before 8:30 you are also giving up breakfast (nothing was ready by 8.) No AC. Walls are thin; people going through the halls, running up and down stairs and in community room were extremely audible. Great... More

Nice little B&B. I'm not a fan of bathrooms down the hall to share with other guests. The rooms were very plain and small. I will say that Ms. Nichols and her staff were friendly and the breakfast was nice. I just wish there was access to water and coffee earlier than 8am. But if you are very price conscience... More

I had been checking for for several days with Prices in downtown Seattle. Pensione Nichols atmosphere was like walking into the early 1990s or late 1800s... Bear claw bathtub, very high ceilings, stairs of the olden time, pulley windows, and a view of the bay and Pikes Market, the mountain and a great view of Seattle. Very nice owner. They offered Homemade strawberry... More

I went to Seattle on a business trip and needed just a quiet room to relax after all-day conferences. I had an inside room (no windows, but it had a skylight) and it was very quiet. It was small, but I really didn't need anything else...I was there by myself and didn't need to spread out. If I needed to... More

Myself and two girlfriends stayed in one of the apartments for a girls overnighter. It was perfect. Centrally located to everything. Big room, big kitchen, big couch to relax on--perfect for talking and catching up with each other. The Pensione is very clean and somewhat quirky. Staff were friendly and efficient. Everything went smoothly. Simple but good breakfast--delicious French press... More

We liked this place and might stay here again for the sake of its convenience to the famous and very good Pike St market and surrounding restaurants, cafes and shops. (The crumpet place was fantastic! Also the gingerbeer and piroshki shops.) The upstairs communal room where breakfast is served, which overlooks the whole of the bay, was really lovely and... More

This is a hidden gem right in the center of downtown Seattle. Close to the Market in the middle of the action. Smallish but adequate rooms nicely furnished. Baths down the hall work fine. Never a problem. Wonderful public room with spectacular views. Quiet at night. Breakfast was a wonderful bowl of fresh fruit, rolls, juice and tea or French... More
