I went to Seattle on a business trip and needed just a quiet room to relax after all-day conferences. I had an inside room (no windows, but it had a skylight) and it was very quiet. It was small, but I really didn't need anything else...I was there by myself and didn't need to spread out. If I needed to... More

Myself and two girlfriends stayed in one of the apartments for a girls overnighter. It was perfect. Centrally located to everything. Big room, big kitchen, big couch to relax on--perfect for talking and catching up with each other. The Pensione is very clean and somewhat quirky. Staff were friendly and efficient. Everything went smoothly. Simple but good breakfast--delicious French press... More

We liked this place and might stay here again for the sake of its convenience to the famous and very good Pike St market and surrounding restaurants, cafes and shops. (The crumpet place was fantastic! Also the gingerbeer and piroshki shops.) The upstairs communal room where breakfast is served, which overlooks the whole of the bay, was really lovely and... More

This is a hidden gem right in the center of downtown Seattle. Close to the Market in the middle of the action. Smallish but adequate rooms nicely furnished. Baths down the hall work fine. Never a problem. Wonderful public room with spectacular views. Quiet at night. Breakfast was a wonderful bowl of fresh fruit, rolls, juice and tea or French... More

The location of the B&B is perfect. Situated just across from Pike Market. Breakfast was great. The owner, Lindsey was very friendly and they allow dogs which is a treat. I stayed in a single room shared living room and bath. But I took a look at the apartments and they are huge. The apartments are perfect for a family... More

My daughter (26) and I had a father daughter weekend, flew to LA and took the Coast Starlight train back to Seattle. Our plan was to do the train ride and then spend two nights in Seattle for a self 'walking tour'. I searched for a reasonably priced hotel in downtown Seattle and stumbled on the Pensione Nichols B &... More

We stayed at Pensione Nichols in downtown Seattle with our son. The room was equipped with a double/single - so, it worked perfectly for the 3 of us. The bathroom is shared but, works also if you plan ahead... Breakfast was bread and fruit / typical European with French Press coffee and Juice. If you're expecting high-end - that's not... More

Cozy place near to Pike Place Market. Its a bit tired on the inside but I quite like the fact that it appears to be held together by bolts, it adds character and B&B is exactly what it says it is - a bed with breakfast. If you want more - go to a hotel! We had rooms 7 and... More

A block away from Pikes Place makes this bed and breakfast a great place to stay. Nice clean rooms. You share bathrooms with other guest but we didn't run into any problems with that. We were disappointed in the "breakfast" of the bed and breakfast. We were given coffee, fruit, and English muffins. Not what we were expecting when staying... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Pensione Nichols a couple of times after it being recommended by my parents as their go-to place to stay while in Seattle. Our first trip we stayed in the apartment suites, which are fantastic in every way! Your own bathroom, a large living room overlooking the water, a cute little kitchenette and... More
