We stayed at Pensione Nichols in downtown Seattle with our son. The room was equipped with a double/single - so, it worked perfectly for the 3 of us. The bathroom is shared but, works also if you plan ahead... Breakfast was bread and fruit / typical European with French Press coffee and Juice. If you're expecting high-end - that's not... More

Cozy place near to Pike Place Market. Its a bit tired on the inside but I quite like the fact that it appears to be held together by bolts, it adds character and B&B is exactly what it says it is - a bed with breakfast. If you want more - go to a hotel! We had rooms 7 and... More

A block away from Pikes Place makes this bed and breakfast a great place to stay. Nice clean rooms. You share bathrooms with other guest but we didn't run into any problems with that. We were disappointed in the "breakfast" of the bed and breakfast. We were given coffee, fruit, and English muffins. Not what we were expecting when staying... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Pensione Nichols a couple of times after it being recommended by my parents as their go-to place to stay while in Seattle. Our first trip we stayed in the apartment suites, which are fantastic in every way! Your own bathroom, a large living room overlooking the water, a cute little kitchenette and... More

The location is great and the rooms are adequate. I left a necklace behind and was immediately notified by the staff that they had found it. I called Lindsey, the proprietor, at least 4 times to ask that she mail the necklace to me which she promised to do each time. I've yet to receive the necklace after 4 months... More

My wife and I are always about the area we are visiting rather than where we lay our heads. If we want comfort and flat screen TV, we'd stay at home. So we booked Pensione Nichols with budget in mind. However, on arrival we dropped our bags into a room which was clean with vintage furniture, then explored the communal... More

I found this place through an online voucher code and probably should have done a little research on it because I wasn't prepared for the bathrooms being down the hallway and a tiny room with no windows. It's not for everyone. If you want something unusual, however - you might just like this bed & breakfast. It is certainly located... More

A terrific, no hassle, everything provided as expected stay in the big city! Lindsey the proprietor was a delight. Although we had one of the windowless rooms, we were perfectly happy. It was extremely quiet! In a big city like Seattle, you're not going to be in your room much anyway. A good break on parking in the indoor garage... More

I have to travel to Seattle regularly for work. I always stay at Pensione Nichols. The location is fantastic. The staff is wonderful. The vibe is even better. That is the key, the vibe. No TVs, comfy beds, old world charm... I always choose here over the typical hotels my coworkers choose. You can walk to a million great restaurants... More

I’ve been a regular guest over the last few years as a treat away from Canadian Alberta winters. Like many of the guests, I’ve met some wonderful travellers when I’ve taken the time to engage them, heard middle-of-night noises through thin walls, and never been short of hot water even though it’s an old building. It’s definitely not a standardized... More
