This is a great place for a short stay. It is clean, and the location is in the heart of everything. The room we had was truly weird. It was in the centre of the building so had no windows and a shared bathroom down the hall. However, we only needed to use if for sleeping, and so it was... More

I researched many places to stay while in Seattle and found Pensione Nichols as the clear leader in value. The nightly rates were high but the central location and close proximity to Pike Place market made up for it. We saved by being so close to top attractions that we did not need to rent a car! Staff is around... More

We stayed in apt 12 with another couple. The location was awesome!! Place was aging a little, so if you want pampered and pristine this may not be your spot. But for price, location, view and the benefit of a kitchen- it's perfect. Hint- look under the trundle bed for the pullout. We discovered it as we were leaving!!!

Kate M's review was spot on. If you are not used to staying in B n Bs or Pensione's this might not be for you. We are and this was fantastic. Like places we've stayed in Europe except larger rooms and wider stairs and hallways! The location, a stones throw from the market, can't be beat. Lindsey was a terrific... More

My husband and I are also perplexed by the good reviews this place has received. We were very disappointed with the whole experience and would not ever stay there again . We found it on the internet and the reviews were so good we booked it. We have both stayed in b/b's and boutique hotels in the U.S , Canada... More

If you are looking for an impersonal hotel, with en-suite, in room coffee making facilities and all the mod cons, then this possibly isn't the place for you, however, if you are looking for a place which has oodles of old world charm, the chance to meet lovely and interesting people, a view to die for, a great location, and... Came to Seattle for the SMX Advanced conference and thought it was ridiculous to pay the major hotel prices and live in an impersonal room for several days so I picked the Pensione Nichols for my stay with nothing to go on but the booking site info. It was a great pick. It's a convenient walk to pretty much everything... More

I hate to say it. I don't want to be "that guy" but I have to be honest. I booked through Booking.com for four nights, on the day of my travel to Seattle, I double checked the email from PN. Three nights, starting a day late. I check my email from Booking.com, four nights starting that night. It ended up... More

My boyfriend and I went to Seattle with our friends(another couple) to take in some baseball, and see the sights(living in Portland my whole life, this was my first trip to Seattle that wasn't drive-sleep-drive only!). We went to the EMP, spent hours wandering in the market, and of course, we enjoyed the smell of garlic parmesan fries at Safeco... More

My travels last month took me through Seattle where I stayed at Pensione Nichols, located in the downtown, with an exceptional view of the bay and surrounding area. I stayed on the recommend of a family member who had been to the Pensione before. I found it utterly charming: my room was clean, spacious, the overall ambiance was relaxed and... More
