A classic older hotel now run by Doubletree. Classic and classy. Great place for a special event like a wedding. Close to the sound. Walking distance to downtown area and the market. Easy to get to. The staff are very friendly and helpful, Steve the concierge was great and seemed to know the answer to any question we threw at him! Nice change from typical chain hotels (even if it is a Doubletree now). Spacious rooms with nice furnishings, a great lobby/bar that throws you back to a more relaxed, albeit masculine, time.
