My partner and I have stayed here twice now since their reopening earlier this year and highly recommend it! Recent renovations (they were closed from September or October of last year on or those) were done really well; clean, classic, and comfortable. The breakfasts were GREAT,our hostesses couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, and both of our stays were... More

First of all, this place isn’t really a bed & breakfast in the usual sense; it is, as other reviewers have noted, a BOARDING HOUSE. Formerly and more accurately known as Capitol Hill Guesthouse (the name was likely changed for SEO reasons—to rise in search results), this flimsily built (no sound-proofing, holes in the bathroom walls) structure has been retrofitted... The neighborhood is pretty and safe, and just a 15 min. bus ride from downtown. You get kitchen privileges and there is a refrigerator for guests' food. The continental breakfast has hard boiled eggs, good coffee, juice, milk, cereals, breads/pastry, yogurt, and fresh fruit. Bathrooms are shared, but I rarely had to wait and they were very clean. There were... More

This was our last stop (stayed two mights) of a 14 day tour of Pacific Northwest. We knew going into this that due to some of the negative reviews that it was not going to be a stellar stay. I will say that our room was clean and tidy. I also knew going into this that we would be using... More

We chose the lower priced roooms so our review will reflect this. Plain rooms with little personality but location excellent within walking distance of nice barsand restaurants. Low ceiling and small bathrooms, but large foyer and sitting rooms. Quite place and good night sleep. Friendly unobtrusive staff. Hopefully the next level of roooms were larger. Safe parking for our rental.

We were looking for a pet friendly place to stay on a two-day turn around visit to Seattle with some friends from California. The pictures and descriptions on the website were inviting and, when we called, the owner was friendly and helpful - or so we thought. When we arrived, the rooms were not exactly as depicted on the website... More

We spent 3 nights at The Bed & Breakfast Inn in early June. Shannon, the proprietor, and her assistant, Saliema, were friendly and helpful with suggestions for getting around town on foot and public transit. The B&B is in a nice, quiet residential neighborhood in the Capitol Hill area. We were able to walk to the downtown area, Pikes Market,... More

The Bed & Breakfast Inn was one of the highlights of my stay in the US. The staff were incredibly obliging, polite and friendly. Moreover, the guests in the B and B were great, which is not always the case in B and Bs. I had one of the smaller rooms as I was staying by myself, but the bed... More

Clean and comfortable. Small room, though. We missed lamps for reading by the bed and a bed table. Beautiful view from our shared balcony. Great breakfasts and nice kitchen with space in the fridge for your own cooking. Very nice location in quiet residential area close to restaurants and shops down by Broadway, Pike and Pine where the action is.... More

I always like to begin with the positives; the staff was friendly, the residents(!) were nice, the breakfast was yummy, and our room was clean. However, our room was uncomfortably tiny. The queen bed literally took up the entire room! My husband keeps referring to it as "the jail". Our room was also off the kitchen - literally two steps... More

We are very sorry to hear that this guest's Wedding Anniversary weekend was not up to what he was expecting. We had several more spacious upper floor rooms available during their midweek stay and would have gladly moved them if they had just let us know they were not happy. The very reasonable rate was likely too tempting to pass... More
