The Greenlake Guest House has become one of my favorite places to stay. The home is beautiful, The room overlooking the lake was roomy and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very luxurious. The location was perfect with many restaurants in walking distance in both directions. The close proximity to downtown Seattle was also a huge benefit. Blayne... more

One of the best B&B we have stayed at. Rooms (we stayed in 2) were beautiful, and heated bathroom floors were a pleasure in the morning. Located right on the lake with plenty of opportunity for morning and evening strolls. Blayne and Julie were wonderful hosts and even made our late arrival (2am) no problem at all. Great breakfasts and... more

The Greenlake Guest House was a perfect place to stay in Seattle. Blayne and Julie served delicious breakfasts, helped with directions, provided suggestions about attractions and restaurants, and were very welcoming and hospitable. It was easy to get to downtown and several other areas, and restaurants and a beautiful park were within walking distance. I would definitely recommend it and... more

We quite enjoyed our lovely 3-day getaway at Greenlake. We agree with all the great reviews here on TripAdvisor. From their genuinely warm welcome through the very thorough orientation, the delightful breakfasts, and the worthwhile suggestions for dining and sightseeing, Julie and Blayne were perfect hosts. The house is wonderfully restored and updated, maintaining the enchanting Arts and Crafts style,... more

We had a wedding to attend in the north Seattle area. We were looking for something comfortable, clean and quiet. We did not want to be within the 'downtown' area. The Greenlake Guest House was a perfect selection for our mid-September 4 night stay. It is directly across the street from the beautiful Green Lake Park. Our hosts, Blayne &... more

We stayed for one night in July to go see a couple of Mariners games. Parking was on the street, but there always seemed to be space available at any time of the day. We were greeted by Julie & given the tour & house information we needed to know. The location is on the main street right across from... more

Great place to stay! Green lake is right across the street. My wife and I like to walk and bike. Whatever your pleasure, the park around Green Lake has a great path for roller blades; bikes; jogging; walking; etc. There are canoes and paddle boats to rent. Blayne & Julie make some fantastic breakfasts and the coffee is outstanding (as... more

My husband and I are British and were travelling through Seattle with some friends when we found this guest house. Right from our initial phone call, we received nothing but warmth and friendliness from the delightful couple who open their lovely home to travellers. They did everything they could to make our short stay as comfortable as possible. more

The owners of this hotel are helpful, polite, and clearly dedicated -- and it shows. This large, gorgeously decorated home has all the right comforts: games, books, and magazines near the leather armchairs in the living room; complimentary tea, coffee, soda/water, fruit, and snacks; internet access; movies and magazines (for those drizzly Seattle nights); and easy street parking. Our room,... more

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome as if it was our own home. The breakfasts were truly wonderful as was the opportunity to share stories with fellow guests. The bedrooms were very comfortable with all the facilities you would find in a 5 star hotel except we were in a much fireindlier setting rather than... more
