We spent 3 lovely days at the Greenlake Guest House while on a wine, beer & cheese journey to Oregon and Washington. GLGH was a delightful change from a traditional hotel during our travels. The smell of breakfast cooking in the morning reminded me of the wonderful, comforting smells coming from my mom's kitchen while growing up...a comforting memory. Julie... More

I have stayed at the Greenlake Guest House several times when in town for conferences at UW: it was such a convenient location: I walked around the lake in the morning or evening took a bus to UW for the conference, and felt pampered in the cozy bed ,big TV and fireplace, and heated bathroom floors. Cant wait to go... More

We just spent 4 great days and nights at the Greenlake Guest House. The overall experience was absolutely wonderful and Blayne and Julie make you feel right at home. The house is well decorated and the rooms are meticulous. We always looked forward to the variety of breakfasts as well as the morning coffee conversations. The scenic view of the... More

I walked in the Susan G Komen 3Day after spending several days sightseeing in Seattle. It was so comforting to know I would return every night to a warm, inviting, comforting environment. It was truly like a home away from home without the laundry or dishes LOL. Julie and Blayne are so welcoming and generous with their hospitality. They were... More

As a graduation congratulations to my daughter she and I visited the Olympic Peninsula as well as Seattle from Saskatchewan, Canada. Having travelled through Europe and many states in the US, we like to stay with B&B's or guest houses. The Greenlake Guest House was completely perfect. It was spotlessly clean (and I'm fussy in this regard), very comfortable and... More

I don't often give 5 star ratings across the board but you couldn't possibly want more from the Greenlake Guest House. We were getting into town early and needed to drop our luggage off before check in. Julie was extremely helpful and accommodating. When we came back all of our luggage was waiting for us in our room. The room... More

We stayed in the Greenlake Room for 4 nights on our honeymoon. From the moment we checked in, Julie and Blayne were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, modern, and full of amenities. My wife has several dietary restrictions, which they happily accommodated for breakfast. Speaking of which, the breakfast menu changes daily but always had a lot... More

I can only echo other reviewers. Amenities are well thought out, breakfast was excellent, rooms were spotless. Though not large, our room had a closet and drawers for possessions, plus shelf space in the bath for toiletries. The public area was bright and comfortable. We enjoyed walking around the lake and surrounding neighborhood.

We enjoyed a 6 night stay in the Ballard room last week. Every need was met. Each of the rooms was designed so comfortably with a private bedroom and bath, fireplace, laps, desk, sweet treats nightly, robes, fresh linens, lovely decode, and in the hallway, shared dvds, books, a fridge with beverages and guidebooks for Seattle and the Pacific Northwest... This was the second time I had stayed at Greenlake Guest House and this stay was just as enjoyable as the first. I have stayed at b&bs in other large American cities and this is the best experience I've had. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Every possible need is anticipated including a chilled water bottle that you... More
