We always stay at the Watertown when visiting relatives in the University of Washington area of Seattle for the highest quality at the most reasonable price. The staff is exceptionally friendly, professional and helpful - you truly feel that they care. The amenities and extras are amazing: I always borrow one of the computer carts, so I can access my... more

If you like 50's era danish modern minimalist furniture, stained carpets, bathroom tiles with a color pattern that makes them look dirty (so you can't tell if they are) concrete walled lobby, security that's real pain, finally great view of mountains as you look over tar roofed shabby nearby buildings, and finally well overpriced compared to hotels to the north... more

Urban, new decor with many amenities including Aveda products, hard and soft pillows of your choice, windows that open, bathrobes, baked cookies, quiet. The parking is free and very secure as well as the elevators to your rooms because you need to have your pass key to get to your floor. Breakfast complimentary and choices may include scrambled eggs as... more

I read all the reviews here, and selected the Watertown based on the positive evaluations. I agree w/ most everything, and would recommend this hotel to most people. It is not posh, but clean and streamlined, and w/ many useful pluses in the room(space, clean design, fridge/microwave), and extremely comfortable beds(supportive mattress on wooden platform), and I had a very... more

It has been a long time since I have walked away from a hotel and said, Wow! The location was great next to the university, close to water and downtown. Modern, very clean property. Rooms very comfortable with many nice touches. Love the refrigerator and microwave in room. Breakfast and PARKING included, the garage was secure, which was nice since... more

Received good service at front desk. Hotel room had all the amenities we were looking for- small fridge, microwave, free wifi, hairdryer/huge mirror, window you could open, air conditioning, and robes. When we pulled into the hotel to check-in, we didn't know where to park the car until we saw they had an underground garage that was gated. Front desk... more

I read wonderful things about this hotel on TripAdvisor, and decided that I would stay here for my wedding night before my honeymoon. I reserved a room months ahead of time, pre-paid for it, and after a long wedding day (5am to 2am), went with my new bride to our well-deserved rest. However, I was stunned to arrive in the... more

My husband and I stayed at the Watertown Seattle. It was our first time at hotel and Seattle. Modern decor which we loved, the room was perfect with attention to detail. I loved the small round nautical frosted window in bathroom door. It was a wonderful stay, staff friendly appreciated the wine, snacks in evening, coffee available, shuttle to main... more

Maybe I read too many of the reviews for Watertown and my expectations got too high, but I thought this place was just okay. My husband, 4 yr old son and I stayed at Watertown over Memorial weekend. We were in a room with 2 queen beds on the 5th floor. The hotel is boutique-ish looking. It is on a... more
