We had the pleasure of staying with our lovely hostess, June 29 thru July 2nd.....We live in an older home, so we really loved this historic home. We came to Seattle for the first time with some knowledge and a full daily agenda, so we never had to ask our hostess what we should do, instead we spoke of what... More

This is a very nice Victorian=style house, about 20 minutes bus ride from the city centre (bus 10 goes from right outside the property to downtown, and a ticket $2.50,$1.00 for seniors, is good for any bus transfers for a couple of hours). You can reach the airport by taking the 10 to Westlake Centre, and then the incredibly reasonably... More

We stayed in the Figaro room for two nights and found it very restful. We like the atmosphere of the Victorian house and the neighborhood. This was a nice change from the U-district where we usually stay. There is a great park just across the street and the Asian Museum. The number 10 bus line quietly hums right down the... More

Arrived slightly earlier than anticipated but it was 7.00 pm and the owner was confused about if our room was ready. It was a great disappointment very small bed and very hot. We had a terrible nights sleep. Even with the window open the room was like a sauna and we couldn't turn the heating off. The bed was for... More

Loved our time at the Mozart Guesthouse. Our hostess Tina was wonderful and provided a delicious made-to-order breakfast each morning. She gave us ideas for our sojourns each day and was a delight. Easy access to downtown "touristy" places or a nice walk to the park nearby. It was a lovely time. Well stay here next time no doubt.

I was excited to stay here, but my excitement faded when I saw the living area, the miniscule bath, and the breakfast. The house itself is beautiful, but the living area was cluttered and was not inviting. I felt like we were intruding. The bedroom was small, which is not usually a problem, but there was no comfortable chair and... More

The owner made a point of being on the premises to greet us. The house and our bedroom were beautiful. The breakfasts were exquisite, complete with freshly made croissant. The location was, for our needs, perfect.

Spent 3 nights in Figarro room. Really appreciated spacious bath and shower after week on a cruise. LOVED porch off bedroom. Centrally located to downtown, church, restaurants, public transportation. Tina is a responsive and outgoing hostess. Met interesting guests over breakfast - french toast with raspberry sauce was delicious! great neighborhood for walking around, park on corner and scenic lookout... More

Location: Unbetterable. Frequent bus service to Downtown, everywhere accessible from there. Short walk to decent restaurants. -- Breakfast: Stellar. Crepes with raspberry sauce! -- Room: Cramped lavatory; another room might have a more generous en-suite. Unusually warm weather, should have asked for a fan, to have found one waiting would have prompted gushings of "How thoughtful!". Bed, linens, internet access,... More

My little sister lives in Capitol Hill and I try to visit her several times a year. I ALWAYS stay at Mozart and can't imagine staying anywhere else. Valentina is beyond amazing. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. She's tremendously accommodating at breakfast and a totally fascinating person to sit and talk to and get to know. By far... More
