A great place to stay, you'll be transported to an urban oasis when you enter the property. Excellent Service. The rooms are need a refresh but the environment makes up for any 70's feel. So close to UWMC, U Village, etc. a nice place to stay.

This was a quiet park like setting so close to the Seattle's Children Hospital where I could walk to as needed. The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was second to none. Great place to stay. Staff very kind.

It's a nice place, pretty setting, esp the breakfast house in front of a fountain. Friendly staff, comfortable bed. We stayed there for 5 nights to attend my daughter's graduation ceremony. Location close to UW, suitable for family stay. Free guest laundry is very convenient. The down point is that the guest house needs to be upgraded or modernized.

This is situated in a nice established neighborhood. I felt safe walking around in the evening, and I was withing walking of distance of the University of Washington, restaurants, and shopping. The facility is set on about 18 acres with a beautiful pond. I got very close to a bald eagle sitting on the edge of the pond... pretty amazing.

We stayed here during UW graduation and were pleased to find a quiet haven amid the bustle of the U District. The staff were amazing! They let my daughter drop off her things before check-in since we were meeting her later. They kindly stored not just a suitcase or two, but several items she had from moving out of her... More

Talaris made it so easy to plan this event. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and responded quickly if we needed anything. The facility is not new, but is kept up well and clean. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The food for the event was fabulous! Would definitely use again!

I was recommended to this hotel by a friend. The grounds were very serene and meditative. The hotels location is convenient located to the University. I stayed in one of the Cascade rooms. The room was exceptionally clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The room was not large but was big enough to have a desk and chair.

I was so happy I found this place for the second week of my two-week business trip to Seattle. I stayed in the city for the first week and by the end of it was really looking for something a little more quiet. Although the rooms are a little dated, the peace and quiet of the grounds more than make... More

This hotel is located on gorgeous grounds with a small lake and lots of room to walk through nature. And just blocks away is the University of Washington -- within walking distance. Good buffet breakfast comes with the reservation. Excellent value.
