Searched a lot of hotels and reviews for our three-day family getaway to Seattle and we're so glad we chose The Maxwell. Clean, stylish, comfortable, great location, excellent service and our 8-month old son really enjoyed wandering around in the giant shower!

We chose the Maxwell after reading several positive reviews on Trip Advisor and I am happy to report that we had a great experience: -The rooms were very clean (although maybe the walls were a little thin as noises from surrounding rooms carried over but not so much that it was an issue for us) -A good location as the... Thank you for making the trip from Canada to see our fine hotel and city. We like to hear all about our guest's experiences while here and we are pleased that you enjoyed your clean and comfortable room, the hotel's amenities like cupcakes and coffee, and the location (although we would also prefer to be on the waterfront overlooking the... We recently spent two short stints in Seattle, a couple of weeks apart. For our first stint we stayed downtown at the Mayflower Park Hotel, and for the second we elected to try the Maxwell Hotel, based on the great TripAdvisor reviews and because we wanted to see a different part of Seattle. We are very glad we did. The... More

We recently stayed at the Maxwell. Our experience was sublime! From the moment of arrival until our departure from their limo, we received nothing but terrific service. Their cafe, restaurant, and afternoon snacks were treasures. Customer service was SUPERIOR! We highly recommend the Maxwell and its staff!

We stayed at the Maxwell for three nights on our recent road trip to BC. As it was my first time in Seattle we could not have booked a better hotel with a better location. yes maybe some people prefer downtown Seattle, but Seattle Center with the Space needle , various exhibitions like the Chihuly Glass Garden, the international fountain... We were traveling through Seattle to board a cruise for the next day. Having never been there, we weren't where would be a great place to stay. We came across the Maxwell Hotel and after seeing some pics, customer reviews and the great rates, I thought, this is it! I was pleasantly surprised when we walked into the lobby. Very... More

The Maxwell Hotel (not to be confused with the Hotel Max) is just west of Seattle Center (home of the 1962 Seattle Olympics) and a few blocks from the Space Needle. Covering Seattle's downtown by foot from the Maxwell is comfortable. The hotel is located in a residential area. Underground parking is complementary until the garage is full. You need... More

The decor of this hotel is very interesting. The best word I can find is electic: a mix of circus motifs plus bright colours and an assortment of styles. There is a large sitting area in the lobby plus a fireplace lounge area with a little library. Little mini pineapple cupcakes are served in the afternoon. The room was large... More

We stayed here for an extended weekend trip and really enjoyed ourselves. Great location, close the Seattle Center sights and some really good neighborhood restaurants. Nice, clean place with super friendly staff. I was concerned about parking but it turns out we never had a problem.
