We recently traveled from Nebraska to Seattle Washington for a vacation as we had never been to Seattle. We started out looking for a pet friendly hotel as we thought we may be bringing our dog. Well we decided not to bring our dog but since We had booked the room we kept it and was so glad we did.... More

Was in Seattle for work and this hotel is one of the recommended hotels by the company. It around a ten minute walk away from the Space needle and if you can try get a view of it from your hotel if they have availability. The hotel provides water, tea coffee for free and there are also basic slippers and... More

Excellent hotel, very close to the Space Needle and Chihuly Glass Garden, walkable distance to monorail stop that takes you directly to the city centre. The room was very nicely design, comfortable and very clean. Excellent bathroom, beautifully scented shower gel, shampoo and even hair conditioner. Small bar for breakfast (bagels, coffee, etc) and great pub with excellent choice of... More

This hotel was nearly the highlight of our trip to Seattle! I spent a lot of time trying to decide on a place to stay near local attractions and downtown, and someplace that we could easily catch a bus to the University of Washington. We could walk or bike nearly anywhere from this hotel (and the free bikes, helmets and... More

I stayed at this hotel one summer ago with my family without a car. We were able to walk to every attraction. The hotel itself is in a weird spot but very accessible. The rooms were clean and very cute. Not alot of food places close by except the one in the hotel.overall a great stay!!

Dear Emily, Thank you for your positive thoughts on our hotel! Should you find your way back to Seattle we would love to have you again. Our lower Queen Anne neighborhood does offer some hidden gems for food and we would love to share those with you. And don't forget about our Pineapple Express shuttle service! I'm a walker myself... Stayed here again, for just one night, after a whirlwind trip to Seattle and Vancouver, and back again. Stayed at the Maxwell our last night, prior to leaving the area. My wife and I felt at home immediately. This place is like a comfortable pair of shoes; can't wait to get in them again. Not much more to add, other... More

Upon check-in, the host was pleasant and gave us a map with the main attractions. There is free shuttle service to popular districts, but you need to schedule it in advance. It was great and saved us a lot of walking. Otherwise, the hotel is close to the monorail, which is fun too. There are lots of cool attractions and... More

Dear Ski Bunny, So glad to hear you all loved The Maxwell! Being a native of Seattle I love spending my off time in this neighborhood. Such great food and you're right about the attractions; Space Needle, EMP, Pacific Science Center... so much to do! We would be happy to have you return. We have some pretty amazing ski resorts... This was our second stay at the Maxwell within a year and it felt like we were coming home! We love the spaciousness of the rooms, the large shower area, the fun colors and oh my word! those beds!! The comforters are heaven! So many small little touches that make it our favorite (mini cupcakes). The staff is super friendly,... More

Being our third time staying at the Maxwell we knew what to look forward to. This most recent visit we were assigned a wonderful top floor corner unit with 2 windows, one looking out to the Space Needle and the other looking at the neighbourhood. The room was clean, spacious and stocked with all the usual a Maxwell amenities. My... More

This is a very inviting small hotel in an excellent location near the Space Needle, monorail, science museum, EMP museum, and Key Arena. We stayed on the 4th floor (of 5 total) and the people above us were somewhat loud. Also, the back of the hotel has construction on the adjacent lot which forces a 7AM wakeup to beeping bulldozers.... More

Thank you for your review! We do love our location. Perfect for a city stay in a, relatively, quiet nook of Seattle. I'm sorry to hear that our neighborhood construction and heavy footed guests caused some disturbance. On a good note the next door construction is the solution to a rather unpleasant looking building some of our other Trip Advisor... More
