We spent one night in this hotel and thought it was beautiful! The staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were spacious and very beautifully decorated. I loved that the floors were hardwood, however, the person above us must've had a horse staying with them because we heard clomping at all hours of the night. Oh, and the cupcakes that... More

I stayed here for work this week and really appreciated everything about this little gem of a hotel which doesn't pretend to be something it is not... well everything except for the lack of breakfast place. Coffee and donuts don't do it for me...I'm trying low card at the moment! I am a real global citizen for work and spend... More

This hotel is at a great location and we love the nice decorations around this hotel. Staffs are very nice there and we can walk to a lot of attractions and restaurants. Our room has a nice view of Space Needle. It was a rainy day when we stayed there, so hopefully next time when we come to Seattle, we... More

The room was attractive and clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel appears to be a rehab and the heating/cooling system is loud and disturbing to the otherwise quiet ambiance. There is no breakfast, which we knew but we will choose hotels WITH a breakfast in future. It is just too much hassle to go downstairs and pay... More

Clean and comfortable room, nice walk-in shower, perfect location for my trip, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, a block from main bus route downtown, friendly and helpful staff. And -- and this earns the fifth star -- free, fast, wifi everywhere with no stupid login when your iPhone or laptop wakes up. One very tiny criticism: the TV was... More

My recent stay at this hotel was nothing but pleasant. Friendly and helpful reception desk staff, spacious and stylish rooms and tasty mouthfuls of their promised Pineapple cupcakes in the afternoon. Conveniently located to the event we attended at the Key Arena and multiple restaurants within a short walk in the neighbourhood. Loved that there were bicycles available to use... More

We just stayed at the maxwell and it was very nice. We stayed in room 422 and had a great view of the space needle. Bed was super comfortable, everything was very modern. My only complaint was the limited parking. I had to park across street and paid $27.

There are lots of things to like about this hotel - the tiny coconut cupcakes, the nice rooms and comfy beds, the free bikes, pleasant staff, etc. However. . . the cons are kinda big ones. The rooms have paper thin walls and no insulation. We were on the third floor and could hear every car door opening, people walking... More

Thank you for the review! I'm glad that you loved the comfy beds and the great staff! I'm sorry to hear about the noise and the view. We are working with the city to have that building cleaned up or removed but I can understand your concern. The hotel is in a great location that isn't too noisy usually but... More

Wonderful area - great French restaurant up the way. Lovely grounds. Attention to detail with beautiful rooms. We will always remember this hotel on our way up to British Colombia. Came in later, unexpectedly and were pleasantly surprised. Cute boutique hotel in one of my favorite (if not favorite) areas of Seattle. Moderate price with good service.
