- The outside doesn't look great, but the room is really good. I had a jacuzzi te side of my bed and the room was clean. - The location is average. far from Seattle downtown, but you have a indian restaurant just in front (saffron grill) and a 3 blocks walking a mall/best buy/target/etc. - The wifi didn't work correctly... The hotel was clean, staff pleasant and the breakfast had a variety and was good. I normally don't pay $150+ per night for a hotel room, so was disappointed with the appearance of the hotel. We were in Seattle for our grandson's graduation from University of Washington, so I'm assuming that is why the prices were higher.

The double queen rooms rooms are rather small, with no desk, and no luggage racks, but the beds are comfortable. The luggage cart has seen better days, and hard to push through the very narrow hall from the elevator to the exterior facing rooms. There are no exhaust fans in the bath- rooms, no phone books in the rooms, and... More

The room was clean and although a soccer team was staying at the hotel when we were there, very quiet! The staff was very nice and very helpful. There is food and shopping within walking distance and it is right off the freeway for added convenience.

Good location close to many services that a traveler needs. Friendly and helpful staff. Shuttle service a real plus for going to areas in Seattle that you may want to visit. Restaurant on property but separate from hotel.

Dear Manuel A, Hello from the Hotel Nexus. We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. Our hotel is indeed ideally located, not too far from Downtown Seattle, but far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city and close to Northgate Mall shopping, movie theaters, the University of Washington campus, and various hospitals. Our... More

My son and I stayed at the Nexus last month, it was not the worst hotel but not worth the money. When we arrived the staff was very nice but the machine that made the room keys was broken, I felt bad for the staff they were stressed. The machine was not fixed until the next evening. Not the staffs... More

Dear Kate B, Thank you very much for your kind comments about our hotel, in spite of all the issues that you experienced. We did have that one day when our key making software crashed on a Sunday and the only resolution was for us to replace it the following day. I thank you for your kind understanding of the... More

The Nexus is 100% organized and has a fine infrastructure. It is reasonably close to the UW campus, and MUCH more affordable then the hotels in the immediate campus area. Ity is also immediately adjacent to shopping at the Northgate Mall.

We arrived on short notice as our granddaughter was flown to Seattle Children's Hospital. While the Nexus is an older building the staff and facilities met our needs splendidly. Breakfasts every morning, room freshening daily, extending our stay on short notice, decent internet and comfy clean beds, even the shower had plenty of pressure and hot water. We loved the... More

Check-in was a nightmare. Pool was broken. They assigned me a room on a dark, creepy stretch between pool and maintenance room before I asked to be reassigned. I found the hotel staff to be rather incompetent and most hotel guests to be unpleasing. It seemed like a lot of people were staying here for nearby medical services. The rooms... More

Very good hotel stay on a very busy weekend in Seattle. Hotel was completely full but the staff stayed on top of things anyway. Room was fine, breakfast was great, WiFi in room was poor but no problems in the lobby. Hotel is near a freeway so you will hear traffic, though.
