The Georgetown Inn has probably the most accommodating, friendly and eager to please Staff I have ever seen. A++ for effort. Nice clean rooms. For a small town, there are lots of restaurants available with a good variety. Bus stop is very close and you can get downtown very quickly and for a very reasonable price. It doesn't have many... My husband and I recently traveled to Seattle for vacation. We needed a place close enough to travel around to local hotspots. We also needed to do some of our own cooking to save money on our trip. Georgetown Inn met that criteria for us. The hotel itself is nice, but don't expect a luxury hotel. Our linens were surprisingly... More

We recently stayed for 6 nights while we were visiting our son. Our first impression was that the lobby was spotless, our room was on the small side and the hotel was a little old fashioned still using a real key to get into the room instead of a key card. It turned out that the key was never an... More

We spent two nights here enroute to Mt Rainier for several days of hiking. We saw how expensive being near the Pike Market and city center would be and decided to stay a bit further away in the area of Seattle called Georgetown. This is a motel right off of I-5 which makes it very easy to get around the... More

Like other reviewers, I asked for an inside room. All 2 bed rooms face the street. Nice attentive staff with a nice continental breakfast. My son loved the brown sugar muffins and cereal. They even offer free laundry facilities with soap! Inside hotel 3 star, outside is a 2 star. I save money on the hotel to do things in... More

Small hotel, clean, spacious rooms (many with kitchens or fridge) in hip, trendy district full of unique restaurants, galleries, shops, etc. Staff was wonderful, and so helpful that we were able to leave the car and bus our way around like seasoned Seattleites. This is a gem, and one-third the price of downtown hotels a few miles away. So convenient... More

I think if I had my time in Seattle again I would stay closer to downtown. Having said that, it was nice to sample the bars and restaurants along Airport Way, near the Georgetown Inn. The front desk staff here are great! Really nice and helpful at all times we asked for anything. They always went out of their way... More

Thank you for the kind review...It is true that there are some outstanding hotels downtown...If the price is not a factor then downtown is the place to be...While Georgetown does have a great vegetarian restaurant in The Georgetown Liquor Company you are right that it is not a "salubrious" neighborhood. (I had to look that one up). We have lots... More

The staff at the Georgetown were incredibly helpful. When using an online booking site, my reservation for 9 ended up being a reservation for 4. Although the Inn was busy, they were able to find room for us and saved the day. The breakfast was delicious! Several of us enjoyed the organic, country bread (fantastic!), and we were very impressed... More

My husband and t recently spent four nights at the Georgetown Inn. Although a few miles south of downtown, the city center is about a fifteen minute drive (except during rush hour). The rooms were nicely decorated, well equipped, clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. They gave us a map of the Georgetown area which... More

Admittedly the Georgetown Inn is some distance from the centre of Seattle (about 5 miles I think), but the area is well served by cheap bus links ($2.25 ticket lasts for three hours). The hotel is clean and pleasant enough and the staff are really polite and helpful. Rooms are very nice although my room looked out on a rear... More
