My mother and I just came back from a 3 night stay at the Silver Cloud Inn Lake Union. The room was large, very clean, with comfortable beds and a terrific 42" flat screen TV. The lake view was great with landing sea plans, sail boats and even the Seattle Space Needle. All the staff were wonderfully accomodating and helpful.... more

My wife and I stayed at the Sliver Cloud Inn-Lake Union for 6 nights basically to attend our daughter's graduate school commencement @ UW & to spend some time with both the daughter and son who is attending the AI school @ Seattle. Traveling to Seattle from Hawaii and arriving at the hotel at midnight was an adventure-we drove from... more

Our family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights, and we actually booked the stay based on the positive reviews from TripAdvisor. Although there was nothing specifically wrong with the hotel, it was very average. The breakfast (free) was the usual continental style with a waffle maker that my kids liked. The pastries were a bit nicer than the usual.The... more

My wife & I stayed here with friends over the long Memorial Day weekend and had a great experience. The rooms are modern but comfortable, the staff is attentive but not intrusive, and while the hotel is not conveniently walkable from most Seattle sights, a free shuttle that leaves twice an hour will get you almost wherever you want to... more

Stayed here for the weekend after our Alaskan cruise. Room was large and very comfortable ,nice flat screened TV, Aveeda toiletries (yeah!). The breakfast room was very nice and the selection of breakfast items was pretty impressive. Front desk personnel were very helpful. The hotel shuttle was fantastic, they will drop you off in any of 3 different sections of... more

I stayed here with my 12 year old son in order to visit family in Seattle. This hotel was recommended to me by my sister who lives in Seattle and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. One of the main benefits was the free parking - I hadn't been to Seattle in a long time but found the parking... more

I stayed here 3 nights with my girlfriend and we had a very pleasant stay. The room was quiet and clean. The free continental breakfast was pretty good and the views from the breakfast room looking over lake union were nice. We easily found a table each morning. I was able to priceline the hotel and got it for <$90... more

A small hotel but it is priced reasonable. the location is steps away from the waterfront of lake union. it has shuttle service to downtown. the room size is large. Cons: not much facility. do not provide you all bath supply, you need to buy it from its mini gift shop!! more

I live an hour from Seattle, so to stay here had to be a pretty good deal and it was! The free breakfast was wonderful and the 24 hour pool was great! They had plenty of towels there for you to use. Coffee was available at all hours and fully stocked with splenda, straws, napkins, etc. The place was clean,... more

The Silver Cloud Inn - Lake Union is a fantastic place for a Seattle stay. Although not centrally located for the primary sights, the inn is close to the Fairview & Campus Drive stop of the Seattle Streetcar. For $1.75 (or $.50 for seniors, children or the disabled), you can ride the streetcar into downtown Seattle and a single ticket... more
