We stayed in Seattle on a weekend night on our way to the Oregon coast. As far as accommodation goes, we were looking for: spacious, clean, quiet, available parking, and affordable. This place ticked all the boxes. It's a bit of a blast from the past - our suite even had a cubby hole between the small bathroom and the... More

But that isn't bad. These appear to be old apartments with newer furniture and carpet and appliances. If they put in period furniture and carpets they could call it "University Retro Hotel" and charge twice as much. It is in a neighborhood that is being gentrified. The rooms are clean, the beds were comfortable, it's nice to have a fridge,... More

We stayed for 3 nights and we could not find a better deal anywhere in Seattle. Considering we had a whole apartment to ourselves and free parking included it really was a great value. We were there on a weekend and yet it was very quiet, we slept well and never heard any noise from either inside or outside. The... More

My wife and I felt like we had stepped into our first apartment some 25 years ago. It was essentially a one bedroom apartment complete with kitchen and small dining area. We had a room with 3 queen beds, which allowed our daughter to actually come stay with us, so all 5 of us fit comfortably. There was a flat... More

We left this hotel for another one in the middle of our first night because we were very dissatisfied with our experience here. First, to get to their free parking, you have to drive down an alley with graffiti **everywhere.** The parking is under the building- a perfect spot for car prowlers or car thieves to do their business. We... More

Let's face it folks, this is an old apartment building turned into suites. We love it! Incredible price, huge for any kind of suite, best price for what you'll get anywhere in Seattle. let alone for the U district. Central to everything, and great, free, underground parking. Very clean, great staff, even has corner rooms for same price. We think... More

This was a convenient location near the University of Washington. But the wifi was horrid, they tried to charge us for 'complementary' coffee and were pretty rude. Also we came back to find a maid in our room when she was not cleaning and had left the door wide open. But there was new carpet, which was one of the... More

Rooms are HUGE with a full kitchen so it's an excellent place for independent travelers. Good location too. Buses to downtown Seattle are frequent and take about 20-40 minutes. Our room had a big new TV but the rest of the furniture looked like it was from the 80s and there was wall-to-wall carpet everywhere. Staff was very friendly and... More

Spacious suites -- reminds me of older exurban properties except that it's a five minute walk from the campus and (my destination) Meany theater. Squeaky clean, fully furbished kitchen, and friendly competent management. The garage parking was a plus, and I was pleased at the overnight quiet. I plan to return.

Pluses: more like a one-bedroom apartment than a motel suite. Kitchen even has a cutting board. Comfortable beds, dining table and chairs, clean carpet, windows that open, plenty of electric outlets, easy access to public transportation, neighborhood is full of superb restaurants. Minuses: lousy cable, low water pressure in the shower, very non-plush towels. Bring your own coffee and filters.... More
