I thought this motel was basically clean and comfy with pretty good service and basically "ok" to stay at ... BUT... you are paying for the LOCATION near downtown Seattle and the Seattle Center, not necessarily an exceptional place to stay. That is what you are paying for. Nice hotel..good continental breakfast...parking should be free, but I guess Seattle is expensive for cars. No frills close to Space Needle and monorail to downtown area. more

Stayed at the Express for 1 night on my way to Oregon. The hotel is easily accessible from the highway. Rooms are solid, nothing special but clean and comfortable. A great feature is the free hot breakfast. Parking is underground and $10.00 a day. Would definitely stay here again. more

This hotel was pleasant, clean, and roomy. Very comfortable. Location was 15 minute walk from the Monorail which takes you to the heart of Downtown (10 minute walk to Pikes Place Market) in minutes for only $2 per person. We left our car in the free parking and used this transportation exclusively for convenience. more

The hotel was clean and the service was fine. We were happy with our stay, until the garbage trucks started throwing the dumpsters around at 2am. That continued for 15 minutes and woke us up solidly. The Holiday Inn Express Seattle City Center is just a few blocks away from downtown and the Seattle Center (Space Needle).
