I thought this motel was basically clean and comfy with pretty good service and basically "ok" to stay at ... BUT... you are paying for the LOCATION near downtown Seattle and the Seattle Center, not necessarily an exceptional place to stay. That is what you are paying for. The other hotels and motels in the downtown area are MUCH pricier,... more

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your experience at our property! Although we may not be able to do much about the noise from Aurora, we can do something about the television volume. We have already begun reprogramming the t.v.s to come on at a more tolerable level. I apologize for any inconvenience this caused. I appreciate...

Nice hotel..good continental breakfast...parking should be free, but I guess Seattle is expensive for cars. No frills close to Space Needle and monorail to downtown area. more

Stayed at the Express for 1 night on my way to Oregon. The hotel is easily accessible from the highway. Rooms are solid, nothing special but clean and comfortable. A great feature is the free hot breakfast. Parking is underground and $10.00 a day. Would definitely stay here again. more

This hotel was pleasant, clean, and roomy. Very comfortable. Location was 15 minute walk from the Monorail which takes you to the heart of Downtown (10 minute walk to Pikes Place Market) in minutes for only $2 per person. We left our car in the free parking and used this transportation exclusively for convenience. more

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel! Your feedback is greatly appreciated. We have a great location within easy walking distance of both Seattle Center and downtown Seattle, and the Monorail is a fun way to get from the Space Needle right to the heart of the shopping district! Also, I am glad you enjoyed free parking,...

This hotel is right near the space needle, and if you are lucky enough to get an Aurora Ave facing room, will have a good view of it. It is so close, you can walk there and you can also catch the Monorail to downtown for a few bucks. The hotel is quite nice, I had a room on the... more

My husband and I stayed at this Hotel after reading reviews from other TripAdvisor travellers and we're so glad we did! The Hotel was excellent, the staff were efficient and professional and the room was first class. We'd like to make special mention regarding the breakfast restaurant girls who were just the best and we have travelled all over the... more

Just returned from a 2 night stay in Seattle and after reading the reviews on this site, decided to book the HI Express Downtown. We had planned this trip for our anniversary and wanted to experience "Teatro Zinzanni" again (previously visited on a trip to San Francisco a few years ago). The rooms are clean and bright, the air conditioning... more

We (2 adults and 1 baby) stayed here for a week and found things to be generally fine. I had booked a room at the back of the hotel given that the road at the front is really busy – the downside of this is that you get a view of the Holiday Inn on the other side of the... more

The hotel was clean and the service was fine. We were happy with our stay, until the garbage trucks started throwing the dumpsters around at 2am. That continued for 15 minutes and woke us up solidly. Then the garbage trucks came back again around 5am to repeat with a different set of cans. My family and I were all dazed... more

The Holiday Inn Express Seattle City Center is just a few blocks away from downtown and the Seattle Center (Space Needle). It's within easy walking distance of the Needle (maybe 6 blocks) and near good public transportation that can get you easily around to tourist sights in central Seattle. We spent 2 nights here. The hotel is modern and the... more
