Date of visit: August 14-17, 2015. I was promised a pleasant experience and I was not disappointed. I purposely booked this room because of the description on the Inn website. I booked a single room with a twin bed. The bed was more comfortable than most "regular" hotel beds I have slept in. The windows opened to catch the breeze... More

The hotel is located close to the University of Washington and is within the University District itself. The College Inn is also within a 30 minute walk to Fremont as well as a 3 minute walk to Public Transport that will take you to Downtown. The room and the communal bath room facilities were clean and tidy and this was... More

I am sincerely sorry for your experience. We pride ourselves on being transparent on our accommodations. You are correct we are a shared bathroom facilities and our rooms do not have air conditioning. Seattle is in the midst of a summer heat wave. Normally our temperature are not much above 80 degrees. Our breakfast is continental which does include breads,... More

Very basic room in historic building (though not furnished historically), and only place available in the vicinity for less than $100 per night. We stayed here to be close to UW campus, and it fulfilled that need very well--the center of campus, restaurants, and a small market were within easy walking distance. Our room had a sink, but the bathroom... More

I was soooo nervous to book this hotel after reading the reviews. My son has a two day orientation and even though we only live an hour away, traffic can be horrendous so I decided to get a room for two nights. This hotel could not be better for this type of visit. We have two double beds that aren't... More

Convenient location near University of Washington, lots of little restaurants nearby ()of all kinds). It is cheaper than other options, however I can't recommend it as it is not up to the minimum standard I expect from any hotel: - furniture in a very bad state of conservation, even dangerous, with nails sticking out - funny smell in the room... Booked a room here, for an exorbitant price, through an online travel service. The room didn't exist and when we got to the motel to check in, the clerk (mini-market clerk, who checks in the motel customers) was waiting with a printout for us telling us that the place was overbooked and they did not have a room for us,... I appreciate you taking the time to post your review. I believe I had the opportunity to speak with you as well. Overbooking is not a regular habit. The situation was caused due to an a third party web site which was inaccurately displaying our availability. I am so sorry for the whole experience and we are speaking with them... More

Myself and my partner booked to stay at AWA Seattle hostel on a hostel website. We arrived in Seattle after a 24 hour journey with only one bag (thanks United!) and it was very late. Therefore, finding it difficult to find this place wasn't exactly what we needed. The reason it was difficult? It's not actually called AWA Seattle Hostel!... More

The location of the B&B is excellent if you are visiting Washington University. Please note that this B&B has one common bathroom per flor. This would not be a problem if the hotel was clean; however the pillows stink and the rooms can benefit from a deep cleaning. Staff was friendly and helpful at all times. They assisted us with... I wrote this email to the Manager of the College Inn on June 1st, and never heard back. Somehow, I'm not surprised: Dear sir or madam, I am writing to let you know of my disappointment with the services and amenities at the College Inn Hotel. To name but five: 1. The fan in my room was not working. 2.... More

What I liked about the Inn is that the room looked old-style, feels like an old Irish tavern which was pretty cool. I wish the bathroom is inside the room but I am okay with its common bathroom since it was clean. if you ever want to take a shower in the morning, the bathroom is freezing cold. Since the... More
