We landed at Seattle airport and took the light rail for $2.75 to Westlake station which is at the end of the line. The Westlake station is beautiful with Nordstrom right there and then the street exit to walk a few short blocks to the hotel. Light rail is so convenient and you merely go from the beginning to the... More

After a two night stay at the Grand Hyatt, we made the five minute walk to the Olive 8 for a further two nights. Greeted by friendly front desk staff and given a lovely suite on the 16th floor. The room had plenty of space and nice amenities. Very good bathroom with double basins and a great shower. As with... More

I typically stay at the Hyatt in Bellevue, but decided to try one in Downtown Seattle. This Hyatt is great. The gym has the standard equipment, but it also has a wonderful yoga room. The only disadvantage is that the gym is missing it's water cooler. The pool is huge, and includes a hot tub. But be forewarned, the pool... More

We have stayed her twice and I unfortunately keep forgetting to write a review. This is a lovely, eco friendly hotel in the heart of they city. In keeping with the outstanding Hyatt service, this hotel is a great addition to their portfolio. The rooms are lovely, the pool perfect for a city getaway, the spa is worth the rave... More

It's location, location, location.. the key to all the wonderful shops, restaurants and tourist spots in Downtown. (I have to say,do try Le Panier French Bakery near the Pike Market area or should I say near the oldest Starbucks in the USA. We enjoyed the macaroons and croissant. ) We definitely loved the location! The lobby of the hotel is... More

Once we finally figured out the strange roadway that is 8th Avenue and arrived at the Olive 8, we thought it looked really nice and somewhere we would want to stay(we travel a LOT and that is not always the case when you arrive at your hotel). We decided to use the valet service as there wasn't any other parking... More

Loved my stay here. Beautiful rooms. Upgraded to a corner room with quite a view of downtown. Just buildings and such but I like lots of windows. Nice hotel bar. Close to where you want to be downtown and monorail that goes to the space needle. Must check out the Chihuly Glass museum, Spur Gastropub restaurant, and Serious Pie. Farmer's... More

The room was amazing and perfect! A little pricey, but worth it! The service was ok, nothing special, The staff at the front desk was friendly and they did our check in fast too! Room was big enough for the two of us. I definitely recommend.

The lure of the market and quaint downtown places has drawn us to the Olive 8--- fantastic pool and spa with lots of daylight and rooms that are well appointed and chic. Walking distance to almost everything and great bar and coffee in house. A great way to welcome the new year!

This was a fantastic hotel with great service! Upon check in, our room was not quite ready (we were a little early), but they took my cell phone number and called us as soon as it was done. They held our luggage so we could go walk around. Once we got in to our room, it was spectacular. We were... More
