We loved the location in Belltown. Very easy to get to places from there. The hostel was quite clean, staff was very friendly. The art on the walls was a mixed bag but it is cool that it was created by local artists. We were always site seeing so didn't spend much time in the hostel itself except to sleep... More

Stayed in a 6-bed room the weekend of Jan 16-18. Paid $64 per person a night which was the cheapest we could find the city, and came out to $95 CAD (yeah, I'm not kidding). Location in Belltown is close to most tourist essentials, UBER always available for trips around town as well. The beds were typical IKEA bunk beds,... More

My family (4 adults--2 parents, 2 kids) shared a large room with bunk beds and private bath for 4 days over the 4th of July weekend. The location of the hostel was great--easy walk to ferry (though uphill) and to most of the downtown attractions. The staff was helpful, the breakfasts were sufficient, and there were lots of activities offered... More

We were traveling as a couple and chose the room with private bathroom. The hotel was in such a great location which meant you could walk to the Pike Place Market, Space Needle, EMP Museum, etc. The hostel is conveniently surrounded by restaurants, bars and liquor stores (let's be real). Walking to the hostel from Westlake, the nearest metro station,... More

I had a private room with shared bathroom. The place is secure, with swipe card access needed to enter the building. It was a comfortable stay; the breakfast is not fancy but served my needs. The painting in my room was definitely funky and different, and a little out there for my tastes. The hostel is within walking distance of... More

The staff were really friendly. We spent a night in this hostel. The rooms were slightly dingy. This might be due to the graffiti-like artwork that was on painted on the walls. The bathrooms and kitchen were really clean. The breakfast provided was sufficient - cereal, fresh fruit, banana loaf, toast and coffee. The hostel is centrally located. The space... More

I am an avid traveller that prefers stays in hostels over hotels for many reasons. I have found that U.S. hostels are starting to become more and more common, and are beginning to offer the same charms I have found in other parts of the world. However, the cost is definitely higher than most areas. We paid, $33 per person,... More

We booked a private room at the city hostel for our first visit to Seattle and loved the location. Right between pike place market and the space needle/other museums. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable. The room and hostel was full of art so if you're into that, you will love looking. I would definitely recommend city hostel to... More

Only stayed here for 3 nights but it was a good stay. The hostel was clean though some of the rooms were a bit dark and seemed dingy. This was due to the artwork painted on the walls. Breakfast was enough to keep me going until lunch. The hostel offered cereal and milk, toast, fresh fruit and tea/coffee. The kitchen... More

Perfect location in downtown Seattle for exploring all the city had to offer. Stayed 3 nights in a 4 bed dorm which was spacious, clean and comfortable, adorned with some awesome local artwork as all the rooms here are. Bathrooms were the best I've had at a hostel, both in terms of availability and cleanliness. Staff were also super helpful... More
