This stay turned out to be so much better than I thought it would be. Daniel at the front desk was awesome when we checked in. Providing exceptional customer service and an amazing view room of the space needle from the 14th floor. Beyond what I had hoped for when booking our stay for my birthday getaway. The room was... It's what you would expect from spending $250 on a hotel room. Classy and nice, but still overpriced. The staff were all great, but the photos on the website made the rooms seem much more appealing than they were. The proximity to University Ave. was awesome, plenty of fun stuff within walking distance.

Great location and nice rooms but not great. Hotel does have a very small work out room but I would not recommend it. Coffee shop on main level was in the process of closing (did not say if it was for a remodel or not). Does have a balcony but only with access for the suites. The biggest selling point... More

Matt at the front counter was amazing!!!!! The room I reserved was unavailable. At first I was really upset, it had been a long day of sight seeing, walking and pretty much everything I could possible do to show all my guestes around the area. He immediatly started to research all he had to offer and for what cost to... More

If you are visiting the University of Washington campus, its an ok hotel in a great location. It seems like they tried to make a boutique hotel out of an old hotel that should of at this point been torn down. The hotel has this odd setup. Lots of floors with few rooms per a floor and only two elevators.... More

We arrived early with an injured traveler and the staff were very helpful in early check-in so she cold rest. The second crew checked in later with no issues. Matt at the front desk was bright, cheerful and helpful. As the second crew checked in, one of the cars in the parking lot was being ticketed (pretty aggressive ticketing in... More

Near the U of Washington and on a bus route to downtown, Hotel Deca is in a great location if you are visiting the campus. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a distinctive decor. The staff is friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

We primarily chose this hotel due to its location. It was the closest and the reviews positive. This hotel has been renovated at some point and they tried to make it a trendy, boutique hotel. It is still old with below average amenities. It was generally clean and comfortable, but the age of the property, and limited in room, basic... More

The convenience to UW is unbeatable! Nice, clean hotel with really friendly and attentive staff. Good value for the convenience. Not a lot of frills- no amenities in the room, but they give you free coffee coupons for Tully's (next door) and bottled water on request.

We had business at the University of Washington, which is only a couple of blocks away. We'd stayed at Hotel Deca last summer and enjoyed our stay enough that we did it again this summer. We found the room very quiet, and it had great views! The staff at the front desk was efficient and very friendly. Any issues we... More
