I have stayed at Foxglove many times in the past three years. Honestly, I have lost tracks of exactly of many times that I have stayed at Foxglove since my first visit in November, 2011. Over the years, I had stayed in other B&B's on Capitol Hill in Seattle when Foxglove was fully booked. Foxglove has always stayed on top... More

This B & B is amazing. First, the house - a wonderfully restored Craftsman furnished with exquisite furnishings and accessories. I love Craftsman houses, and this one is breathtaking. I was amazed by the work involved - a photo album on the coffee table shows the house pre-renovation, and that must have been some project. The house also has lovely,... More

This was our second time staying here. We stayed for 4 nights and loved it. This is a wonderful Arts & Crafts house with fabulous period furniture. The location is excellent with lots of good restaurants and bars within walking distance. We took the bus downtown and it is close by and very easy. We walked to Volunteer Park from... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. I believe we stayed in room #3 and we loved it! The location is a perfect distance from downtown with lots of restaurants nearby within walking distance. The continental breakfast is perfect and set up beautifully. It makes it so much easier to get going in the morning with the early time of set... More

I can only echo the comments of previous reviewers. The location in the Capitol Hill area is excellent, with many bars and restaurants within walking distance. The house is tastefully decorated and the choice at breakfast is wonderful. Our rooms were comfortable and clean and quiet. John helpfully suggested places to visit and swimming locations for my husband. I foolishly... More

The only bad part was we couldn't stay longer! The home is gorgeous, the master suite we stayed in was perfectly decorated, the neighborhood is great, and John was a wonderful host. We appreciated the attention to every detail in the house. Definitely stay here if you are looking for something unique and relaxing. We hope to return often!

First time traveler to Seattle. The Foxglove Guesthouse was beautifully restored/maintained very clean and quiet. John was a great host and extremely helpful with directions, suggestions on sites to see. The breakfasts were spectacular not your chain hotel breakfast here! Great location, convenient to local transportation, restaurants, shops, and sites within walking distance. I was a solo female traveler and... More

I love staying at Foxglove Guesthouse and have made it my "home away from home" for years. The Capitol Hill location is perfect. I usually am there on business and love that I can park my car on the street after my work day and walk down to 15th Street that has many great restaurant choices. John is a delightful... More

We stayed for three nights at Foxglove and this proved to be an inspired choice for the start of our trip out to the Rockies. The position of the B&B is perfect for accessing the Capital Hill neighbourhood as well as catching the number 10/11/12 buses downtown. The house is beautifully laid out with period furniture and attention to detail... More

Very pleased with my choice to stay at Foxglove. The house is gorgeous, almost like a museum of ceramics and local art. John is wonderful and does a great job of running the B&B. My room was very clean and comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. Staying at Foxglove really made my first time in Seattle special. I would... More
