I stayed for two nights over the Weekend. I felt most warmly welcomed by the owner. The Foxglove is located pefectly on Capitol Hill in a quiet neighborhood, only a 15 Min busride from Downtown. It's really a wonderful place to stay.

My daughter and I stayed for two nights over Easter weekend and were pleasantly surprised upon check-in to find we were upgraded to a bigger room! Thank you, John, for that most welcome perk! As on our previous visit, everything was impeccable, and breakfast was delicious and bountiful, including excellent coffee. The house is beautifully furnished with decorative pieces of... More

We choose the Foxglove every time we come to Seattle, and recommend it to friends. A wonderful experience in every way, the owners are meticulous, gracious and well informed about Seattle and activities, The house and garden are well located and beautifully cared for, breakfasts are fresh and delicious, and it is obvious that all our needs are taken into... My husband and I stayed at Foxglove in February while visiting friends. It was a perfect location for us, with fun restaurants and bars (like Canon - I recommend it) in walking distance. Our room was very nice, crisp and clean and well decorated. We felt very welcome here, and Foxgloves’ nice touches (like umbrellas ready at the front door... More

I loved this bed and breakfast! The house and rooms are beautiful with lovely furnishings and details throughout. John was incredibly hospitable and helpful throughout my stay. The location is great, an easy walk to many local bars, a grocery store and shops and a quick cab ride or walk downtown. The assortment of fresh fruit, baked goods, eggs, yogurt,... More

I think our decision to stay at the place rather than staying at an expensive hotel, turned out to be the best decision we had taken. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and in perfect state for a good and comfortable stay. The hospitality at the place was amazing and played a great role in making our stay at the place... More

This was our second visit and we will return again! From start to finish, John could not be more accommodating. The house is lovely and close to the city, with public transportation readily available and lots of good spots to eat closeby. A great spot!!!

Period house in very attractive street. Location is handy for downtown if you have a car. John has renovated the house with great care and attention to detail. Top class fit out and facilities. John is a very considerate host. Continental breakfast is generous and good quality with lots of fruit and healthy choices. Comfortable sitting room.

The B&B is located in an area full of life, with a large selection of good restaurant, close to downtown. The house is cosy and really clean. The room was also clean, with a comfortable bed, and with a nice touch on details (corkscrew, minifridge, drier, extra blankets and toweling robe). John is a great host, welcoming and very helpful.... More

Attention to every detail combined with John's hospitality and area expertise really made our weekend visit memorable! Very cool area of Seattle to explore--convenient to downtown, but removed enough to be peaceful and quiet. ..
