My second time to the Foxglove was just as great as I remembered. I was able to book the same room - the large bedroom with en suite bath that overlooks their impressive park-like garden. The room includes a tv and a large mini fridge, so that is a definite bonus. Not to mention a comfortable bed and equally comfy... more

The Foxglove Guesthouse is a beautifully restored early 1900 bungalow within easy walking distance to lots of great restaurants and a longer walk to downtown Seattle. The house is immaculately clean and is filled with period antiques. The owner, John gave us great recommendations for what to do, see and eat. Breakfast is "expanded continental" with fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries,... more

The "Foxglove" is a spotless, charming and beautiful house ... We had just one night in Seattle, and the next morning we were sad that we already had to leave the Foxglove. John is a great host and his B&B is definitely a place to stay when you want to discover the city. more

While our daughter was working on her PhD at the University of Washington, the Foxglove Guesthouse became our home away from home. John always made our visits to Seattle comfortable and peaceful. He helped us with suggestions of places to go and things to do in our spare time on each of our visits. We looked forward to his breakfasts... more

My husband and I and another couple stayed at the Foxglove Guesthouse for four nights this past week and weekend. It was the first time any of had stayed at a B&B and although we were anticipating the new experience, we had a few reservations. The reservations went out the window pretty quickly!!! We arrived very late the first night... more

This is a great B&B in a great location. We didn't have a car, so we picked this place in part because there are a few good bus lines very close. Actually, we were able to walk between the B&B and downtown (the weather cooperated - no rain), so we only used the bus a couple of times when going... more

Just returned from a business trip to Seattle. Booked Foxglove guesthouse based on the great reviews here on tripadvisor. What a beautiful guesthouse. John and Dan have restored this house to perfection. I stayed in room 1 which had its own en-suite. The room was beautiful. It overlooked the colourful garden with its own resident humming birds. The other rooms... more

I travel a lot for business and stay in a wide variety of hotels but rarely a B&B. I discovered the Foxglove many years ago when John and Dan first opened their B&B and I have been a regular guest ever since. The location is great, easy access to downtown, the Eastside and all of the wonderful restaurants on Capital... more

I usually don't stay in b&b's b/c I like my privacy, but I didn't want to stay downtown with a ton of other people at my convention, so I decided to try a guesthouse not too far away. I was not disappointed. It was easy to get to, the neighborhood was interesting and quiet and the house is beautiful. And... more

This place was wonderful from the moment we walked up the steps! Although we were only in Seattle for the weekend and tried to put as many things in as possible....I looked forward to ending the hectic day at the Foxglove. It was the best part of my trip. First the house and gardens were beautiful, even in October. The... more
