The Red Lion is located directly across the street from the seattle airport and is also a 10-15 minute ride to downtown seattle. The hotel was very clean and all the staff were very friendly. The outdoor pool was very large and had many lounge chairs and tables around it. The hot tub was located inside right next to the... more

Very helpful staff- made sure we had access to computer to book our flights. They also gave us pencils, (which would have been inconvenient to buy- no nearby supply stores) for our son to use to take his ACT). We really appreciated their helpfulness. Outdoor pool- rather strange arrangement- must go outside to the next door restaurant area- go down... more

Stayed one night with 8 year old & 16 year old. All guests agreed that the pillows were small and hard and that beds were uncomfortably hard...woke up with sore backs. The coffee pot had to be relocated to the bathroom sink area in order to plug it in; but it wasn't worth the move as the coffee was from... more

Stayed here after flying in a day before our Alaskan cruise.Very convenient to the airport, really didn't have to wait for the shuttle ,could have walked to the hotel. We had purchased a "snooze and cruise"package....room, breakfast, and a town car to the pier. Our room was large and comfortable (and quiet, even with the airport right across the street) Hot breakfast the... more

The Red Lion has recently remodeled this hotel. The rooms were very nice, the airport shuttle timely and the restaurant/bar convenient. My only problem was that our room was freezing cold. It was explained to me that the hotel had an older heating/cooling system that had to be turned on for the entire building. In other words there could be... more

The hotel room was clean and adequate for a place to crash before flying out. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The hotel provided a free shuttle to the airport which was available the minute we needed it in the morning. It was nice to save a few extra bucks getting to the airport in the morning. Our only... more

Front desk efficient and courteous. Room was clean and comfortable but also a bit worn and tired looking. I needed help adjusting the heat and the front desk clerk knew exactly what to do. I had wanted a "stay and park" option - spend a night and get free parking while traveling. This hotel offers such a package, but there... more

Snowed to beat h*ll in Seattle on Dec 23, so we decided to stay at an Airport Hotel before international flight to Asia the next day. The Red Lion web site was not working but Dera Hicks, the front office mgr, graciously booked the room over the phone and provided a super rate. After 1.5 hour taxi ride down through... more

We used this hotel to Park & Fly. $75 for one week (and one day) parking booked through the hotel using email. Cheaper than booking straight with Masterpark. Very convenient free Masterpark shuttle loads up right in front of the hotel. Only a few minutes and you are at the airport. On our return our bus driver called in our... more

We selected the Red Lion for an overnight before a flight early the next afternoon. Somehow I'd forgotten to print out my reservation confirmation and was a little edgy since it was pre-paid. Fortunately all was well in their records and we were soon in our room. I was very glad that the room was larger and more comfortable than... more
