I stayed at the Gaslight Inn for five days this summer and was very pleased in all respects. Bennett was a wonderful host; giving me helpful information on many of my excursions. The house is on Capital Hill district, which from here is a nice walk to the downtown area. The house is a beautiful place which is decorated in... More

First time to Seattle and the Gaslight was a great place to set up camp and explore the city. I walked up(yes that's right) from the Westlake light rail station to the Gaslight. It was a pleasant walk and allowed me to see part of the neighborhood. Once there Bennett informed me that my room was not ready(I was early)... More

We stayed at the Gaslight for 4 nights before our cruise to Alaska. Mary was a great host while Steve Bennett was away. She attended to everything, check in/out, making breakfast, ironing pillowcases daily. always with a smile and gave helpful suggestions for local restaurants and bus routes. Such beautiful furnishings. We will stay here again, if/when we return to... More

I would HIGHLY recommend the Gaslight Inn B &B to anyone visiting Seattle. Located in the Capital Hill area, it is steps away from the bus line that will take you directly downtown, or better yet, stay in the district and enjoy the restaurants, clubs, & coffee shops- that is if you decide you even want to leave the property!... We stayed at the Gaslight Inn for three nights during a getaway to Seattle sans kiddo. The house is beautiful, and our room on the third floor was lovely. Bennett, our host, was very friendly and willing to help in any way he could. One of the best things about this place is the location--we easily walked 20-30 minutes to... More

This was our first time out west. The accommodations and service were of the highest quality. Our hostess Mary just could not help us out enough with all our questions, direction of travel and sightseeing attractions, a big thank you to her. The rooms were absolutely beautiful, clean, and very well kept, felt like being home. The oak furniture, trimmings, and stained glass windows... More

We were extremely pleased with the Gaslight Inn. You will not find a more helpful inn keeper than Mary. The inside of this inn is gorgeous and well maintained. A heated pool and garden area is also available. We stayed in room 106 (on the 3rd floor) that had a private bath on the second floor that was easily assessable.... More

The room was huge and exceptionally clean. And Bennett was a wonderful and very informative host. This was our first trip to Seattle and his directions and dining recommendations were the best. This place is convenient to everything. We were only in town for three days/two nights and were able to see a lot in a short time.

We stayed 3 nights in February for a long weekend at the Gaslight Inn; from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we enjoyed every single moment of our stay. Bennett greeted us at the door and welcomed us to his immaculate turn of the century home, with large reception room and living areas, tastefully decorated with art,... More

We had the most delightful stay here and recommend it highly! The Inn is warm and inviting - you're surrounded by beautiful art and delightful well-chosen music - plus the delicious low key breakfast (fresh baked croissants & cinnamon bread) is an ideal way to greet the day and other guests. Our beds were super comfortable, our room was spacious... More
