We chose the Gasliight Inn for its proximity to downtown Seattle.and plentiful restaurants in the Capitol Hill area, and it's reasonable price, and were delighted to stay in one of the most beautifully restored Craftsman houses that we had ever seen. There were so many beautiful art works , especially blown glass, that it was like an art gallery! At... More

I stayed a few days in Seattle and researched B&Bs that were city centric. Bennett's Gaslight Inn fit the bill. It is located close to bus lines and major streets in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The house is well-preserved and architecturally impressive. It is a secure inn and peaceful and quiet for the most part. I must warn guests about... More

We have always stayed in hotels when we've been in the States but the hotels in Downtown Seattle were pretty expensive and this place had great reviews so we booked well in advance (as it only has, I think, 5 rooms). All I can say is that we were not disappointed. The house has been lovingly restored and is full... More

The Gaslight Inn was a pleasure. The decorations were beautiful, the home was comfortable, and the rooms exquisite. The host was lovely and very knowledgeable of the area. There was a small mix up regarding the time I was to arrive but he waved it off like it was nothing and then apologized for the mix up. My friends stopped... More

We just got home from our 2 night stay here and can't wait to go back. Great b&b with a perfect location and wonderful host! Steve was so helpful and accommodating, he let us drop our stuff off first thing in the am before check in then let us leave it after checkout so we could continue to explore Seattle.... More

I stayed at the Gaslight Inn for five days this summer and was very pleased in all respects. Bennett was a wonderful host; giving me helpful information on many of my excursions. The house is on Capital Hill district, which from here is a nice walk to the downtown area. The house is a beautiful place which is decorated in... More

First time to Seattle and the Gaslight was a great place to set up camp and explore the city. I walked up(yes that's right) from the Westlake light rail station to the Gaslight. It was a pleasant walk and allowed me to see part of the neighborhood. Once there Bennett informed me that my room was not ready(I was early)... More

We stayed at the Gaslight for 4 nights before our cruise to Alaska. Mary was a great host while Steve Bennett was away. She attended to everything, check in/out, making breakfast, ironing pillowcases daily. always with a smile and gave helpful suggestions for local restaurants and bus routes. Such beautiful furnishings. We will stay here again, if/when we return to... More

I would HIGHLY recommend the Gaslight Inn B &B to anyone visiting Seattle. Located in the Capital Hill area, it is steps away from the bus line that will take you directly downtown, or better yet, stay in the district and enjoy the restaurants, clubs, & coffee shops- that is if you decide you even want to leave the property!... We stayed at the Gaslight Inn for three nights during a getaway to Seattle sans kiddo. The house is beautiful, and our room on the third floor was lovely. Bennett, our host, was very friendly and willing to help in any way he could. One of the best things about this place is the location--we easily walked 20-30 minutes to... More
