We stayed 3 nights in February for a long weekend at the Gaslight Inn; from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we enjoyed every single moment of our stay. Bennett greeted us at the door and welcomed us to his immaculate turn of the century home, with large reception room and living areas, tastefully decorated with art,... More

We had the most delightful stay here and recommend it highly! The Inn is warm and inviting - you're surrounded by beautiful art and delightful well-chosen music - plus the delicious low key breakfast (fresh baked croissants & cinnamon bread) is an ideal way to greet the day and other guests. Our beds were super comfortable, our room was spacious... More

I spend one Saturday night at the Gaslight during a quick trip to Seattle and enjoyed it immensely. Bennett, the host, was friendly, welcoming, and thoughtful. The place is gorgeous and immaculate - turn-of-the-century (or older) with all the woodwork in perfect condition, a huge glass art collection, and even the furniture is a collection all of its own. I... More

it was a delightful weekend and i loved everything about the inn, especially sitting around the table in the morning and chit chatting with the other guests over the delicious croissants (the absolute best) and fantastic coffee cake. The decor is charming and the hosts accommodating and friendly. Accommodations comfortable as well. Just like staying with a friend who understands... More

This is a quaint B&B about a 25-30 minute walk into downtown Seattle. It is an excellent base to use to explore downtown and is situated in Capitol Hill, which itself has some good restaurants and brewpubs. The ambiance within the Gaslight is superb with period music playing discreetly on the background adding to the atmosphere. The room itself was... More

Well placed for nightlife pub/micro brew places to eat things to do transport links. Very warm welcome from host Bennett who provides a great quality breakfast every morning. The inn is fantastic, with lovely spacious rooms and great decor. Not a place for kids as the glassware is displayed everywhere and looks very expensive, great place to enjoy a bottle... More

Great hospitality in this delightful property in central Seattle. The location is perfect - within reasonable walking distance of the downtown area (about a half hour walk to Pike Place Market) and a few minutes walk from the eateries and hostelries of Capitol Hill & Broadway. The house is smartly decorated and the rooms really tasteful. The host gives a... More

We stated at Gaslight Inn for two nights, and found it simply delightful. In the quiet Capitol Hill area above downtown Seattle, this B&B is about a 30 minute walk downhill to the harbour (and a longer walk back -- take the bus!). Our welcome was warm, our room lovely, and the breakfasts provided great company and a good selection... More

This was my first time staying at the Gaslight Inn and it was a wonderful experience. The location is excellent; everything I wanted is within walking distance. The atmosphere is calm, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and enough to get one started for a day of sightseeing. The room was so very comfortable, quiet and peaceful. The owner and... We returned to the Gaslight Inn for the second time and again had a wonderful stay in a astonishingly Jugendstil athmosphere. Absolutely our first choice in Seattle. Capitol Hill is a perfect location ; Stephen is a great host.
