What a fantastic place! the owner and his staff made us feel incredibly welcome and well looked after. We received a thorough and friendly introduction to the house and when we stepped out they always made sure we knew how to get to where we were going, and offered free use of an umbrella collection stored by the front door.... The best part of Gaslight Inn is the host - helpful, gracious and friendly. Also, the rooms are spotless and modern with comfortable beds. There is a pool (open during the warmer months) and an upstairs balcony overlooks the Seattle skyline - great for a glass of wine in the evening. Gaslight Inn is well served by a number of... More

My husband and I stayed at the Gaslight Inn a couple of weeks ago while visiting Seattle. The purpose of our visit was not a pleasant one as my mother is undergoing chemo and radiation at Virginia Mason Hospital. Anyhow, from the moment we stepped foot into the exquisite home, Bennett made us feel at home and at ease. The... More

Our first visit to Seattle over ten years ago, we stayed at the Gaslight and loved it. Ten years later it was just as wonderful. Huge room, centrally located and a wonderful host, what more can you ask for. No hesitation whatsoever to recommend the Inn to anyone traveling through or to Seattle.

I just returned from an (almost) 2 weeks stay at The Gaslight Inn, a warm home-away-from-home. Bennett is a wonderful host, location is great, a very beautiful house with fine accomodations. Very much recommended !

We chose the Gasliight Inn for its proximity to downtown Seattle.and plentiful restaurants in the Capitol Hill area, and it's reasonable price, and were delighted to stay in one of the most beautifully restored Craftsman houses that we had ever seen. There were so many beautiful art works , especially blown glass, that it was like an art gallery! At... More

I stayed a few days in Seattle and researched B&Bs that were city centric. Bennett's Gaslight Inn fit the bill. It is located close to bus lines and major streets in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The house is well-preserved and architecturally impressive. It is a secure inn and peaceful and quiet for the most part. I must warn guests about... More

We have always stayed in hotels when we've been in the States but the hotels in Downtown Seattle were pretty expensive and this place had great reviews so we booked well in advance (as it only has, I think, 5 rooms). All I can say is that we were not disappointed. The house has been lovingly restored and is full... More

The Gaslight Inn was a pleasure. The decorations were beautiful, the home was comfortable, and the rooms exquisite. The host was lovely and very knowledgeable of the area. There was a small mix up regarding the time I was to arrive but he waved it off like it was nothing and then apologized for the mix up. My friends stopped... More

We just got home from our 2 night stay here and can't wait to go back. Great b&b with a perfect location and wonderful host! Steve was so helpful and accommodating, he let us drop our stuff off first thing in the am before check in then let us leave it after checkout so we could continue to explore Seattle.... More
