The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We were walking distance to Pikes Place Market, The Monorail which takes you yo city Center and the Nordstrom flagship store. The concierge had great suggestions for dinner reservations and activities. Our rooms were spacious and clean. This hotel is charming. They even have 2 bikes you can borrow to explore the area.... More

Light rail stop from airport is a couple blocks walk (thanks Seattle for $3 transportation). . Our large room was ready early. Delicious water available at elevators and lobby ( lots of citrus, cukes, pineapple mixed into huge spouted glass containers). Forget Starbucks--Storyville coffee is next door and Aveda on the other side. Walk to Pike Place and Pioneer Square.... More

The real measure of a hotel is how they react to problems. Is the staff responsive? Do they ask the right questions, are they concerned? Do they take the time to investigate the issue? The Alexis Hotel front desk staff went above and beyond in helping my family deal with our accommodations during a recent four night stay. Their professionalism... More

Exceptional service, consistent comfort, compact but 'trainer style' (one room of machines and one room with bars and open space) workout facilities, and happy hour, all in downtown Seattle. The Alexis did not disappoint. The front desk staff was friendly and I was lucky enough to get in on my drive to Seattle (I don't recommend waiting until the last... More

Great curb appeal. Took the light rail from SeaTac $3.00 1 way. Easy walk from Seattle's University St Light rail station 4 blocks away. No car needed in this area ($43.00 to park here) lots to do ferries, restaurants, bars, museums, Pike Place, Federal Bldgs, Pioneer Square, Seattle Center short walks with inclines bring good walking shoes. They rooms are... More

We stayed in the Alexis twice this month. Both suites had two queen-sized beds. The first had a practical kitchenette with a microwave and some basic utensils and tableware, the second came without. So, ask if you would like to have this. Both suites were very generously sized, tastefully furnished and decorated including a desk, a couch etc. Both have... More

I always look forward to staying here when visiting Seattle. With its proximity to the water as well as the stadiums the location is hard to beat. It does not hurt that most of the new bars and restaurants are just around the corner in Pioneer Square. From the friendly staff to the well appointed rooms I am not sure... More

We stayed at the Alexis for three nights before we went to Canada. Everyone at the hotel was exceptionally nice and went above and beyond to help us! The hotel itself is beautiful and very centrally located to everything. We took advantage of the free bikes and went all over town with them and highly recommend it to anyone! We... More

We do like the Kimpton hotels. It's fun to check in, friendly people, nice decorated rooms, clean and happy hour with free drinks! The location is great to discover Seattle by foot, Pike market, Pioneer square and even the Seattle tower and EMP are in walkable distance. The Bookstore is the name of their cafe/restaurant and they serve nice and... More

A pleasant check in process can really set the trip off on the right tone, thank you for writing about our friendly staff, well-appointed rooms, and of course the wine hour! We planned just one day in Seattle and wanted to have a nice hotel. This was really a spectacular place. We had the suite on the corner, enormous room with full dinning room and sitting area. The property is very well situated. Has nice shops and close to the Pike place market and the water strip.

Thank you for writing about your evening at the Alexis! It sounds like you were in one of our Executive Suites – truly luxurious rooms. With the beautiful Puget Sound just right behind us, and Pike Place Market mere moments away, we have to agree with you that our property is in a great spot. Please come back next time... More
