Great location, super friendly staff and reasonably priced. Rooms a bit small and the views left some to be desired but an excellent value overall. Free microbrews in the lobby every day? Absolutely. Very hip

I stayed here while on business, and I was not impressed. The hotel markets itself as a hip hotel. However, that zip only exists in the lobby. The rooms are small for the price, with even smaller bathrooms. They have stand up showers which were great for practicing my yoga. I mean, I'm only 5ft 4in, and I had to... More

Hotel Max was very cool, a unique stay! Whilst the rooms are small, especially the bathrooms, Hotel Max makes up for that with it's quirky little touches, such as the record player and records in the room as well as the free Local Craft Beer tasting each night. Beds were also super comfortable. Staff were nice and efficient. Location is... More

I stayed at the Max for a business trip for 5 nights. My initial room didn't quite match what I made my reservation for, but it was a minimal difference. It was just too small, even for just one person. So I was able to change the next morning, upgrading (at a price) to a larger room which was much... More

The Max Hotel is tasteful, artsy boutique hotel with a very friendly, attentive staff. Throughout the hotel were design details (different art on each guest door), elegant touches (upscale furnishings) colorful striped carpet in hallways, art everywhere, etc. We were upgraded to a King room which was a pleasant surprise. The room was very nice as was the modern bathroom... More

Wonderful staff to greet you upon arrival. The room was efficient and comfortable. Wish I could have stayed longer. The shower force is perfect. The bedding was so comfortable I never wanted wake up. Best hotel with such a comfortable bed and pillows. In fact if you sold those pillows I had bought 4!! Convenient location In The heart of... More

The efforts by the hotel and its staff to uphold the "hip trendy boutique" branding were actually appreciated and done well, although blatant. I did appreciate the friendliness of the staff, and the aesthetic of the hotel itself. We felt taken care of and respected.

We have stayed at the Max twice now and can only say good things about it (with one exception). The staff are great and the location is awesome for the price. Now for my word of caution; The doors to the rooms DO NOT self close.I understand that it takes a key to use the elevator, but if you leave... More

Stylish, clean, comfy! Jaymie provided warm greeting upon arrival. Compact but adequately spacious. Artsy vibe with hipster ambiance though not to excess. An overall pleasure, will most definitely return. :-) (Now padding for silly TripAdvisor requirement.)
