Stayed here a few years ago during a business trip and it was a pleasant experience. The lobby, hallways, and rooms had a more modern decor. A nice change from the traditional hotel chains. Great location if you are not from the area, and you want to explore the local fare. It is within walking distance to the Westlake Mall,... More

I guess I have been lucky in my work travels to only have stayed in a terrible hotel twice now, Hotel Max being the 2nd. I guess if you enjoy a extremely small closet for the toilet and a separate extremely small closet for the small shower you should stay here. The air conditioner that hangs out the window to... More

Dear Colleen P (Charleston, South Carolina) on 4/30/13, Thank you for the feedback. I apologize that your experience with the guest room was dissappointing. The building was built in 1926 and in 2005 it became the Hotel Max thus the cozy guest rooms. We have nine floor plans and I am certain we have one that would meet your needs.... More

This was a very fun hotel to stay at. We loved all the great art and being able to walk all around downtown. It was clean, nice, and near some great places to hang out. The bathroom was a bit too small.

Dear Sarah T on 4/23/13, Thank you for the feedback. We are glad to learn you enjoyed the service staff, the hotel, and the Seattle area. We have nine floor plans so I am certain we have one with a washroom more comfortable than the one you experienced. We look forward to your next visit to the Hotel Max. Regards,... More

The location is great if you want to be central to downtown, capitol hill and south lake union. The decor was nice in the lobby and in the rooms. There was also a nice pillow selection. When I arrived, the shower was filled with dry dirt bits that were somewhat caked to the shower floor when I tried to wash... More

Dear JLoLuxembourg (Luxembourg) on 4/22/13, Thank you for the feedback and I apologize for the sentiment from the shower faucet. That is unusual. I can share with you that by this Thursday night 04/25/13 we will have a new boiler which will improve the quality, the presurre, and the temperature of the water. We hopw you will return to the... We arrived here yesterday morning to some confusion. Normally valet is on 7th but in the morning it changes to Stewart st because of buses. Well they forgot to flip the sign around so the sign in front of the hotel said to go to 7th street, on 7th st there were no signs owe pulled into the garage. No... More

Dear sabbysguide (Washington) on 4/19/13, Thank you for the feedback. I apologize that you did not recieve a call to check in early. I stayed at the Hotel Max for the first time and loved it! Good location and a great price! I thought that was as good as it would get. I was wrong! We stayed at Hotel Max for a 2 day/1 night mother daughter trip to Seattle. We had tickets to see a show at 5th avenue, and the price we got for this hotel combined with it's location made it perfect. We have stayed 2 nights at Hotel Max in late February, 2013. We really enjoyed it. The restaurant next door, has great sushi. We loved the art.
