The elevator was extremely small. I rode up with 3 others, and not one of us had an "extra" 5lbs. on us! We were squeezed in like sardines. 2 people and a carry on suitcase could fit, but not with a large suitcase. The rooms followed suit. These rooms are really good for one person forshort stays, like a nite... More

The Hotel Max is very nicely located in downtown Seattle. We were able to walk to the Space Needle, Pike's Place Market, Pioneer Square, and the waterfront from the hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The nightly happy hour was very low-key and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel even though I found the room to be... More

A great city center hotel. Easy access to everything in the city as well as the airport (a 15-20 minute taxi or limo ride, or use the metro light rail 35-40 minutes). An old hotel (opened in 1926) with all the charm, architecture and interesting history of an older hotel. The rooms are naturally smaller consistent with hotels constructed over... More

We chose this hotel off of a website based on it's price, perceived quality, and centralized location. Overall we were very impressed with the hotel from the second we walked in the door. The staff was attentive and helpful, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and uniquely decorated. A fun place to stay in the middle of Seattle.

Great hotel!!!! Great service, super cool... Friendly staff, attentive, would stay again.... Texting to get things brought to the room is a super fun way to go.. The management and staff were friendly, helpful, attentive and did everything to make this a great stay. Kudos to them!!

My spouse made the reservations, I didn't like this hotel the moment I stepped inside this remodeled hotel, reception desk, modern, chic, trendy, no place for them to sit, all look, no comfort. Wifi would cost USD 9.95 per day unless we gave our email to allow them to send an email about their reward program. Your card key is... More

After reading reviews, we decided to pay for a king-sized room and are glad we did. Our room was a corner one on the tenth floor. We had no street noise, and the view was amazing. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable, the bathroom worked well, and the large wardrobe was useful. Our only complaint was an air-conditioner that made a... More

Accomodation of good quality although not very spacious (typically for city hotels...). We slept at the streetside and had from 4 am (and even during night) a lot of noise. AirCo had to be switched of because also very noisy.Temperature in room acceptable (although Seattle was very hot these days, 100 °F and more). Also disappointed that the hotel staff... More

Hello there Patrick J., Thank you so much for staying with us and for sharing your story with the TripAdvisor community. As an older downtown hotel we often hear that our rooms are smaller. I stayed here for the weekend for a wedding- and was glad I was traveling solo since the room was TINY. So small the shower and the sink/toilet are in different rooms. The bed was comfortable, pillows nice and toiletries were good (though they didn't get replenished). The window a/c unit was LOUD, and the only shades on the windows... More

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Max. Out of all the hotels that I have stayed at, I enjoyed this one the most. The hotel itself is very attractive, especially once you get inside- from the photographs on the doors to the design of our room, Hotel Max definitely has it's own style. Though the rooms... More
