Hotel Max is right in the centre of town, so a very good location. However, despite asking for a quiet room we were on the street-side on the 3rd floor and as there was construction going on outside (which started early), it was pretty noisy - earplugs are a necessity. The glazing doesn't do much to filter the noise. On... more

Wonderful and helpful staff. We got a great deal on this hotel -- $99/night with free wi-fi and valet parking. The Hotel is near the Retail district and just a few blocks from the Pike Market. Very small bathroom, as other have noted, but fabulous bedding and pillows. more

My husband and I spent a long weekend in Seattle in mid-April. We didn't want to rent a car, so we were in search of a centrally located hotel within walking distance of all the major sites. We chose the Hotel Max because the price was great and because we loved the artsy style. We knew in advance (from reading... more

I had the pleasure of spending 3 lovely nights at the Hotel Max and what great service we recieved. After leaving, my friend and I both recalled only 2 occassions when someone was not at the front door to open it for us. Usually my requirements are clean, safe and a bargain and Hotel Max was all 3 and more.... more

Decided on visiting Seattle as I had never been there before and I wanted to experience the Pacific North West as it seemed different to the two cities I had visited on the West Coast (San Fran & LAX) - I found the Hotel Max on the Expedia site - had a lot of hotels to choose from, but the... more

We found the rooms to be small--not bad in and of itself, but the heater/airconditioner is overly loud, the noise from the street loud and the surfaces in the room for suitcases is very tight. However, the worst thing of all is the bathroom--no place to put your toiletries bag, no room to turn around in. I had to keep... more

My wife and I were vacationing in Seattle and decided to stay at Hotel Max. it is in a great location, close to freeway access and close to alot of Seattle Sights. Hotel Max is an older building that has gone through some renovations. The Hotel itself is a trendy little place with great art, and all the doors to... more

This is a fantastic hotel - the staff is extremely friendly, the hotel is well located in downtown close to lots of restaurants, shopping, tourist attractions, and night life. We loved the vibe of the hotel - striped carpet down the hallways with the exterior of each room door themed with quirky photography prints. We got a standard room which... more

We originally booked a room before our Alaskan cruise and once we were there also booked for our couple days after the cruise. It is a unique hotel with a staff that is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We were impressed! The rooms were a bit small but clean, comfy with choice of pillow types and spiritually readings too. Each door... more

When we drove up we were met curbside by a valet who got our luggage out, parked our car etc. We were shown to our room, which was just great. It was a corner room on the third floor (I understand the corner rooms are a little larger). The room was spotless, and the staff was just great - helping... more
