I love Seattle and love the W Hotels chain. Every time I get a chance, I try to stay at the W in NYC. So when I started traveling weekly to Seattle for business, I was delighted to find a W in town. Unfortunately, the hotel is pricey in a city with other hotels that are more updated and a... More

I recently spent one Friday night at this hotel. The location is great as it is a short walk from Pike's market, light rail and restaurants. Sadly, the location is the best feature of this hotel. My first assigned room was not clean and upon returning to the lobby I was informed that I would be called when another room... More

We opted to pay extra for a corner room and was told it would have a lovely view of Seattle. When we got there, we discovered that one side of the room had a lovely view of the parking deck, and we could not see over the deck. On the other side, we had ab obstructed view of the building... More

Thank you for providing feedback. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the view from the room. Being in a downtown setting we are surrounding by buildings so the view can certainly be obstructed. The rooms with a view are on our higher floors and would be classified as Spectacular or Fabulous. The lower corner king rooms... More

My wife and I booked this hotel for a getaway over the fourth of July weekend. Let's start with the most obnoxious parking rates, $54.50 for valet parking and that's the only option, we ended up parking at a lot on 7th Ave and Pike St for $30 a night. Secondly we were told we were moved up from the... More

We stayed here before boarding our Alaska cruise. While the location is great..short walk to Pike Market and the waterfront, the staff and the W are terrible. The first room we checked into smelled of vomit. My husband went to the front desk to get another room and had to wait 2 hours only to be given the exact same... More

Our stay at the W Seattle was the kick-off of a nearly three week holiday in the U.S. with our two young children to visit friends and family (we've been based in Asia for years). Having never been to Seattle, we did a lot of research and given the huge number of options available in downtown Seattle, we went with... More

Stayed for two separate weeks. Nice hotel. Great location and good breakfast at the restaurant. Room was nice (higher floor). Service was reasonably good. Good platinum member recognition - upgrade and breakfast at the restaurant.

You can't beat the location. 10 minute walk from both the Football and Baseball stadiums and about the same to the waterfront or Pike Place market. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. the W is a a "hipper" version of the Westin or Sheraton and the lobby lives up to this. Very cool atmosphere and a decent lounge+restaurant. the... More

I don't love this W. It is just okay. The rooms feel sort of small and cramped. I don't care for the shutters in the windows in the rooms - I feel like the room is never fully dark when I am trying to sleep. I am platinum and am used to a warm reception - was just okay -... More

We got a conner room on the 22nd floor that had amazing 90°view of mountain on one side and water on the other side that we enjoyed it very much. Room has kind of L shape so it's not a usual shape that you usually have in other hotel but it's roomy enough to be comfortable. Bed was very comfortable... More
