The W is a good hotel - it has comfortable rooms and has a slick feel about it straight from arrival in its rather peculiarly positioned lobby. The valet parkers were helpful even if the rates were a little excessive and, at first, the staff on front desk appeared up to the job. However our experience ran into a little... More

We started our 2 week journey in Seattle. Never having been there before, we looked for a reasonably priced hotel with a good location. Our friends had stayed at W at another city & were satisfied. Thus we booked. We were very happy with the location (a few blocks from the market), the quality of the room and the level... More

This would have got 5 stars had it not been for the expensive wifi - wise up and make it free to residents! Great location, I had a good sized room, good bar area downstairs in the lobby. Friendly and helpful reception staff.

This is truly a beautiful hotel. The view of the skyline was really beautiful. The room was very nice and had modern furnishings. It was very comfortable. The bathroom was generously sized. The staff were excellent. I was very impressed with the service that I received. I will return to this hotel!

I stayed here for business so I was not paying the bill. Even so, this stay was not a good value. For $375 a night for a standard room, I expect free wifi. Instead I had to pay $14.95 a day. There are no coffee makers in the room, but they do put coffee out in the lobby at 6:00... More

This is a great property, and close to everything from Pioneer Square, Pike Place, and the train station. After landing at the airport we took about a 45 min $2.75 train ride ( Deal of the century!) , and were only about 3 blocks away which was so convenient. They had friendly and efficient front desk people, it was clean,... More

Hotel was fine but poor value. I'm SPG Gold and have stayed in a few W hotels over the past year...this location is no brand ambassador. I had a Fabulous Corner room -- layout was awkward, furnishings were worn, and the bathroom (to me, an important feature in a hotel room) was small and dated. I'm guessing this was a... More

The W is walking distance to many of Seattle's downtown attractions. Parking is accessed on a side street and not that well marked out so make note. The staff are all young and very eager to serve, we also found the food excellent. The hallways are a tad dark and you'll need your room key to go up the elevator....a... More

A W like you would expect, classy, modern purple etc... Room was not GREAT, it was the standard truck stop 2 double bed configuration and they told me this was an Upgraded room. Bed, lining, service was perfect.

I have stayed at a few W hotels, and this one doesn't meet up with the brand expectations. It is clean, in a great location, with decent wifi (for a price). Our room was very dated, and very expensive. It is definitely not the W Hong Kong or the W London. Probably wouldn't stay here again.
