From the moment we pulled in the drive we knew we were in for a sweet retreat. They have valet only parking with the nicest, most gracious staff we have experienced. The hotel has hints of modern amenities to stay with the times but most certainly the attraction is the vintage craftsmanship. It is a beautifully renovated historic hotel that... More

this hotel is past its best and rebranding it as a boutique hotel doesn't cover up its shortcomings. Needs some investment the staff was good but not stretched to match the claims made for the hotel there are better hotels for the same money

I have stayed at a bunch of places in Seattle over the past 20+ years and my favorites have changed as staff, ownership, dating, maintenance, etc change. For years it was the Alexis then the Fairmont and Four Seasons then The Inn at the Market. the past few years we have stayed at the Hyatt but I thought I would... More

I found myself in Seattle for a conference, and was put up in the Sorrento. Never heard of the place, and have always in the past stayed in big brand-name hotels. I was completely caught off-guard. I just did not know what to think of it all, with the Sorrento being this interesting, quirky old-timey hotel. I bet the place... More

Really nice change of pace here. Charming old hotel that has been well maintained. Our room, a large suite, was surprisingly clean and furnished nicely with upscale linens and bedding. Service, including valet parking attendants, was very good and helpful. There is a wonderful outside lounge that was the perfect stop for a glass of wine. Great value!

Dark and sophisticated with a Italian European charm. Great Restaurant, Great rooms, beautiful spaces with a luxurious feel. We met the new F&B and she was fantastic. Had a massage on property, which was great. The neighborhood is kitschy and interesting and we have a great time, every time.

The Sorrento Hotel is one of the more unique hotels that I have had the opportunity to visit. The staff at the hotel were extremely polite, efficient and helpful. The room reminded me of an old hotel from the 1940's. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was nice to come back to my room after a long work day a... More

I reserved this hotel through Visa luxury hotels and was not disappointed. The lobby is full of amazing old wood work. They have done an impeccable job keeping the 'old time' vibe without feeling dated. I stay in one of their Sorrento suites and it was beautifully appointed from the marble bathroom to the relaxed seating area. The staff was... More

This is the best boutique hotel in Seattle, hands down. Valet parking service was excellent, the lobby is small, but inviting, with an adjacent fireside, intimate sitting area that previews evening, live music. The bar and restaurant are very well appointed in classic Italian style. The room (we had a king) was very comfortable in classic style. The food is... More

There is a limit to how high a hotel can go in its particular location and its amenities. The Sorrento definitely maxed out and beyond in my opinion. Its location is in the Hospital neighborhood of down town Seattle. Not the central down town. The towels were not very new the dining room service not top notch and the food... More
