Stayed at The Sorrento for Emerald City Comic Con and I was impressed as soon as I walked into the lobby. It has a very classy old feel. I went into the room and it was amazing. The beds were comfortable and the blankets extremely warm. I didn't want to get out of bed in the mornings. In fact, I... More

I recently had the opportunity to stay here on a recent trip. the front entrance was being remodeled but overall that had no effect on my stay. This was once a grand place, the quality is evident, however it has not been maintained well. The building has an old smell, the beautiful woodwork is scratched and dented and hasn't been... More

Stayed here for work conference. Often when you stay in the same place your meetings are can be boring as... But this hotel has just delightfully warm and restful rooms, great meeting spaces up on the 7th floor.... Really enjoyed myself. and now staying in Redmond at Marriott, I miss the hotel Sorrento already.. :-) Thanks for making meetings a... More

We had an unexpected trip to Seattle. Called the hotel and was told they had one room, in the Penthouse. Quoted rate for a suite for a high rack rate that I cannot find on website then discounted. Nice room, bad internet, meeting room next door very intrusive until 7-8:00 PM. Jetted bath but the shower flooded no matter what... More

We last stayed at the Sorrento on our wedding night 20 years ago, and when we decided to take a quick getaway to Seattle last week, we decided to relive some memories. It was a great decision and our only regret was that we waited so long. The staff was kind enough to give us an upgrade, and even left... More

We decided to stay in town on a whim last night and were fortunate enough to get one of the last two rooms available! The room was small, but SO elegant and so well appointed the size really wasn't an issue - especially for one night. The live music in the Fireside Room was a lovely way to cap off... More

If you want a neighborhood feel with excellent service and a real old world feel, let this hotel take you there. Staff remembers you by name, all the wood paneling in the lobby and let me tell you( we travel a lot), the most comfortable bed in any hotel ever. We had a corner suite, and this bed was like sleeping... More

The service at this hotel is exemplary! Each and every staff member was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. This beautiful hotel is old and the creaking floors and thin walls attest to it. I ended up getting a very good deal on my room, but had I paid anything higher, I would have been disappointed.

My guy and I showed up at the Sorrento after a drive up from PDX to be greeted by one of the most helpful and kind valets ever. Thank you sir! I seriously wish I had your name on hand but you were fantastic and so helpful. Check in was quick, the place was jumping with a after work crowd.... More

We are locals and have stayed in several hotels in Seattle but had never visited the Sorrento. I have been told that it's fantastic so we decided to give it a try. The prices are high and the location is not great. In fact, it's pretty loud as it's near a hospital. There is nothing in the immediate area so... More
