I stayed in this hotel in April 2014 and the experience was like I say, neither good nor bad. Is a century hotel so I can't wait a modern look. I got a suite room that was comfortable but the floors are thin so you hear the people in the above floor walking. The lobby and the bar restaurant looks... More

Travelling frequently for business I've found it easy to stay with large chain hotels. Imagine my delight finding the Sorrento Hotel by "Accident". Great location. Terrific accommodations and super friendly staff made my stay very memorable. I was given a corner room (upgraded because I booked with American Express!!), the room was spacious and elegantly appointed with a very European... More

I posted this review on Yelp, but also wanted to share my experience here. I am extremely disappointed with The Sorrento Hotel. My friend was married at The Sorrento Hotel in January of 2013. What should have been a lovely occasion was marred by multiple mistakes and inadequacies. That said, we reached out to the hotel to detail these infractions... More

The Sorrento Hotel was wonderful for a stay near the Hospital where I needed a consultation. The Management, service and food were very good and accommodations very comfortable. When I need to return, I am sure I will choose this place again. Loved the paneled fireplace room- so very cozy. Thank you to the management for a wonderful stay.

We were absolutely positive - upon checking in our hotel suite - that anything less than five stars wouldn't do a justice to Sorrento. Historical (1907) Seattle landmark featuring the authentic chic combined with every possible modern amenity. The location - contrary to some other reviewers' complaints - is ideal. It is quite central, downtown is easily reachable within 10... More

Everything about the Sorrento feels like a bit of a time warp. The lobby, the bar, the lift, the hallways, the carpeting all seem circa 19 something, but not very recent. It is old and seemingly falling apart in my opinion. The biggest problem is street noise. With poor sound insulation we heard traffic all night and construction nearby early... More

Lovely rooms with comfy beds, high quality linens, posh toiletries and a french press rather than a drip coffee maker. It's the little touches that make this hotel great such as the very helpful staff, the free glass of wine, the fresh cherries. They apparently have ice cream served at 11pm but due to jet lag I never made it... More

Clean comfy rooms ! Very noisy area around the hotel. Not central to downtown , many hills to climb. Great happy hour ! Friendly staff ! Wasn't happy again with the noise right by the hospital. If I would have known I wouldn't have chose the hotel for that reason.

Completely worthy of five stars! From check in, thank you Lisa, to outstanding concierge service, thank you Jerry, we were impressed with hotel staff! The Sorrento is an upscale boutique hotel and caters to their clients. Rooms are nicely appointed, luxurious linens, and fine toiletries. While not situated right downtown, all Seattle waterfront attractions and the Space Needle are easy,... More

Stayed here the night before an early ship to head to Victoria, Canada. Beautiful exterior and interior city hotel. Very nice/friendly/helpful staff. Modern mixed with quaint interior. Less than 10 mins to ship docks. Complimentary ride by staff. Room was good size with seating area and room for 2 in bath area. Note: Only a small/narrow shower stall in bath... More
