Location, location, location. My husband and I love this hotel. One can walk easily downtown to shop, enjoy the bar and restaurant or just look out your room window for a great view of the city. It is an historic hotel with great service and charm. I tell everyone to stay there, because you won't be disappointed.

We recently spent 4 nights at the Sorrento, and loved every minute. The hotel's a little over 100 years old and boasts fine wood panelling everywhere and a generally 'old world' feel. The rooms, though, are bang up to date. Excellent, massive, bed and very well appointed bathroom. Mini bar, fridge and lovely widescreen Panasonic TV (which I watched for... More

Loved this property. I work in the hospitality industry as hotel management, and travel a lot for both work and leisure. I was in Seattle on business, and was pleasantly surprised with this hidden gem. All of the staff found the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism; the room was spotless and quiet; and the team went out of the... More

My friend and I were in Seattle for outpatient surgery and spent the night before and after surgery here. This is a historic hotel which has been updated without losing its charm. The lobby, bar and restaurant were beautiful. The room was spacious with very comfortable beds. Its located on Capitol Hill in Seattle so good location for visiting downtown... More

I love this hotel, the location is great, very close to pike's market, downtown and many wonderful restaurants. The staff was excellent, professional and available. The hotel it self is like walking back in time, the architecture, beauty and charm has been impeccably maintained. They also are dog friendly and even have a couple of doggie vittle items on the... We stayed at this sister hotel of Hotel 1000 on our last night in Seattle before returning to Boston. What a lovely hotel, even though the long hallway on the second floor reminded me of 'The Shining'. We had a crummy view of the parking lot next door, but the room itself was charming, comfortable and we both got a... More

The hotel is charming, and full of character. The service is very friendly. My 2 complaints were that 1. the hallway of my floor was smelly, almost like there was a dead fish somewhere, and 2. the windows of my room were single-paned, and the street noise really bothered me. If you like peace and quiet, I would not recommend... More

We stay here every other week, always for the night, order the Hunt Club prime rib for dinner every time, share a bottle of PNW red, enjoy the cityscape awhile, have a great sleep in a relatively quiet and dark room with quality linens on the bed, wake up the next day, order room service breakfast (bacon is amazing, all... My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at The Sorrento for a few nights this week and had a great time. The hotel's history is apparent before you even walk in with its great circular driveway and entryway. The service was great, from the front desk, to the hotel bar, to room service to the concierge. The room... More
