only stayed one night. Had a "Sorrento Suite" which was absolutely charming. Comfy living room, great bed, totally clean and well maintained. Would have been perfect except for two issues. The noise from the hallway was a bit much and the two room suite only had heat in the living room area. We picked a cold night and it took... More

This place isn't near most of the things that you're likely to want to visit in Seattle. It's east of the freeway, it's not quite downtown, it's not quite Capital Hill, it's on First Hill (also called Pill Hill because you are surrounded by hospitals). There's also the free Frye Museum a coupe of blocks away. At the same time,... More

We had a wonderful time... its close to everything, great food, great coffee... the staff was more than helpful to answer our questions. We will be back. The beds were super cozy, quite large and airy....we stayed for a week so it was great meeting other guests there.

My wife and I absolutely love it here. We have stayed twice in two different suites and they were both wonderful. The staff is amazing, the rooms are luxurious, and the service is incredible. Don't pass on this one of a kind experience.

We had a great stay recently at the Sorrento. All the staff were great. The front desk guy stored our bags before check in, booked our dinner reservations and helped us find everything on a map. The valets were great and our server in the lounge was so attentive and friendly. The room was perfect - we stayed in a... More

I stayed in the Sorrento at First Hill in Seattle on business. While an older hotel it was warm and inviting with a friendly staff and a great location. The lounge was a fantastic place to hang out and the bar/restaurant just right. Note to the hotel: The single elevator seems to be a bit creaky and should be replaced,... More

This was my first time staying at a hotel in Seattle. I am a Travel Agent and had looked at lots of options but this is what we settled on. I had read all of the reviews and went over their website and have to say..they EXCEEDED all expectations! There were a couple of VERY minor things in the room... More

With a glorious lounge, bar and restaurant replete with dark wood paneling, richly upholstered couches and generous fireplace, one could spend a whole day here (as I did, reading and avoiding a rain-drenched, chilly autumn day)....the rooms have lovely traditional decor, marble bathrooms, and L'Occitane toiletries...the walls are a little thin and the 'historic' elevator is noisy and tends to... My Boyfriend and I stayed here in 2009 and we couldn't have asked for a more warming and friendly Hotel anywhere. The staff were top notch and the Ambiance and old world charm really shined through. We had to go out early in the evening and did not get back till around 11 pm and didnt know where to go... More
