Honestly we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel. The room was nice and clean. The guy working the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. I wish I could remember his name. Good location, especially once we figured out how to approach it on foot without coming up the very steep street on one side. Easy access... More

The room was very comfortable. It is what you would expect from a Marriott hotel. However the bell staff and concierge at this hotel were definitely a cut above the usual service. They were better than most staff I've encountered at Ritz-Carltons or St Regis properties. They were unobtrusive but when approached for service, they truly went above and beyond.

Stayed at the Renaissance for a conference, but I did the weekend with my girlfriend before it started. so I was there for a solid week. The good: I loved the bar; funky decor, lots of comfortable seating, good food and cocktails, reasonably prices. The room was nice; bed was comfortable, lots of pillows, great view, large tub/shower and bathroom,... More

My husband and I stayed at the Renaissance for one night this past May after 15 days of cruising to Alaska (two cruises!). We generally choose Marriott facilities because we love their beds and this one was great as well. We arrived at the hotel very early for normal check-in's but the front desk offered the Concierge lounge which was... More

I stayed at the Renaissance for one night in September 2014. All staff I encountered from the front desk staff to my room service server were friendly but professional and efficient. My room was very clean and I found the bed to be very comfortable. One drawback that wasn't a problem for me might be for light sleepers was that... More

The service and decor is fantastic. Very clean as well. Pillows were amazing. However, the mattress was firm and sagging in spots which made for not the best night of sleep. Location is perfect though. This is my second time back for that very reason.

I just spent one night at this hotel last week but came away very impressed with the staff. I attempted to check-in very early and was told a room wasn't available yet, but the desk clerk gave me access to the Concierge Lounge (I'm platinum with Marriott Rewards) during the day, plus she would give me a phone call when... Beautiful hotel, nice rooms and staff. Comfy robes in the rooms! It is about (10-15 min walking to Pikes Market, Waterfront, etc) But a great way to see the city. Biggest advice- if you plan on walking, Seattle is very steep, ladies wear good walking shoes, trust me!!! Had breakfast in bed, amazing! Great bed! Very romantic and great views... More

My husband and I just stayed at the Renaissance for a work conference for a long weekend. It was a great experience! The hotel is very nice, and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. I'm completely baffled by the negative reviews! We have stayed in many hotels around Seattle and this was among the nicest we've stayed in. It's... More

My initial booking experience was the worst I have ever had and I called the manager to complain. They apologized and assured me that they would make it right. I had my doubts but when we arrived at the hotel they upgraded our room from standard to a suite. We were part of the wedding party that had negotiated a... More
