We booked this hotel, based on the good reviews, and needing to be downtown for an event one night. Couple things, they lost our reservations, and the room had a view of the AC units on the roof of the next building. We also found out that the rooms are outdated, and the bathroom door is a glass door, like... More

I lived here for two years (in seattle), and when I came back a few years later, I chose to stay at the Executive because it's across from my favorite place in all of Seattle; the library. It is also minutes from the waterfront and tons of shopping. Beautifully decorated on every floor, though the walls are a bit thin.... More

My wife and I stayed there the night of the 12th of October. WHAT A MISTAKE. The A/C was off so it was akin to sleeping in a sauna. The front desk offered to let me open a window with a safety lock so it only opens 4 inches. WOW!! Great solution. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom.... More

The hotel is cheap for a downtown hotel. But like they say, you get what you pay for. My room was small. So small the TV isn't in front of the bed but to the side. The TV is small. The room was hot and I had the temperature at the lowest. There must be a better hotel to stay... More

Thank you for your comments, we apologize for the lack of air conditioning during your stay. Our building being built in 1928 allows for either heating (winter) or cooling (summer). We are currently transitioning to our heating cycle, with our A/C being shut down not anticipating the unseasonably warm Seattle fall weather. Our location is perfect or Seahawk home games... More

The thick stench of layers of years of old cigarette smoke welcome me into my room. There was a peculiar and different stench in the closet. The clothes I wore the next day kept the smell, so i had plenty of time to consider. Not quite old mothballs, but something old and sharp, with a chemical essence. The room air... More

Thank you for leaving your comments and for acknowledging our very nice staff. I do apologize for the odor you encountered, we are in the preliminary stages of a carpeting make over which when completed will resolve the odor you experienced. As well our building being build in 1928 allows us to have either cooling (summer) or heating (winter) months,... More

We really enjoyed our weekend stay! We arrived late and were upgraded to a corner king room immediately (we didn't even ask!). The hotel is obviously old, but they are renovating bit by bit. Our room was a funny mixture of shabby and very modern, but it was clean! The modern bits were the bathroom (amazing!) and the bed (ridiculously... More

Thank you or leaving us with your comments and for acknowledging our location clean rooms, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms and Valet Parking. Your Pro tip is very helpful with the garage next door confusing matters with their signage. We look forward to your next visit to Seattle and thank you for choosing the Executive Hotel Pacific. Although the hotel is in a good location to walk to many things including Pike Place market, The elevators were not on the same floor that you checked into which seemed odd. I was not pleased with the room. The carpet was old and dirty, the glass door in the bathroom had brown spots splattered all over it, the tub... More

Pat, Thank you for your comments and for mentioning our nice staff, location and proximity to Pike Place market. I do apologize for the slow draining tub, our maintenance department has addressed this since your departure. I have also shared your comment with our executive housekeeper for his review and immediate attention. We are in the initial stages of a... More

Arrived at this hotel at 5.30am in the morning after a long flight from Hawai, we were told that we could not check in until 11am which was only fair, but straight away realised that the place was shabby and felt unclean, spoke to a lady who was staying there and she said it wasn't nice at all and would... It's centrally located - which is the only positive I could find. I'm writing this review in bed after about 2 hours sleep due to the extremely loud air conditioning unit under my window and the sauna like temperatures in the room. I'd put the air conditioning on in the room but then the sound is like being next to... More

Thank you for providing us with your comments. I do apologize for the lack of air-conditioning during your stay. Being built in 1928 our heating and cooling systems are transitioned from cooling to heating seasonally. We had not anticipated the warmer, sunny weather for this past week when we had made our transition a week ago. I have addressed the... More
