I suppose you should expect to pay a lot for a downtown Seattle hotel, but it seems that you should also get quite a bit for it. We stayed here 2 nights before going to Victoria and are now back. We thought the first nights rather expensive but the person with whom I made reservations gave me a nicely lower... More

Given some of the recent reviews I had some concerns about staying here. While the elevators and carpets could use some updating our bed and linens were new and very comfortable. We had an excellent night's sleep. The bathroom was small, but renovated, nice hot shower. Free Wifi worked well. Never tried the TV (does anyone still use one?) Yes,... More

I hate giving bad reviews, but our experience at this hotel was terrible. I will never stay there again. We were in town for a wedding and this hotel was on the wedding website. There were four of us coming from out of town and we thought it would be nice to stay together. I'm pregnant and the other female... More

It couldn't be better situated given what we were interested in doing. It was right between Pike Place Market and Pioneer square, and an easy walk to Macy's and Nordstrom's. But really, location is all it had going for (though it was also relatively cheaper than any other equally rated hotel in Downtown Seattle--but every hotel there was so expensive,... More

From the website it looked like a high class hotel. But the room was small and no better than many economy hotels along any major highway. The mattress was old and lumpy. Not the nice pillow top that has become the standard in the industry. Small out dated 24" flat screen with local analog channels and 3 HBO channels. Only... More

Overpriced, smelly, antiquated elevators and understaffed. When we got to our room, the trash hadn't been emptied and the bed was unmade. To be fair - when we called to let them know of this, housekeeper was there within minutes and handled it beautifully. The housekeeping staff seemed very nice and hard working - but there seemed to be a... More

I booked a room with 2 queen beds. Going up to the room it was apparent that the hotel needed a good cleaning and they needed to apply to the HGTV show "Rescue my Renovation", you could see they attempted some updating but it was very cheaply and poorly done. When I got to the room, I could hear the... More

I usually never leave reviews but I often read them and make my selection by that so I decided to contribute. I have never ever been in a worse hotel than that one. The only reason I would give it 2 stars is because of the location. The staff was almost absent, although I couldn't say they were rude. The... More

We made reservations at this hotel for our entire family. When we arrived 11:30 p.m. they told us they provided a room for us with 1(!) queen size bed for the four of us! Unbelievable! The rest of the hotel was booked. After 27 hours of traveling we had to search a different place to stay in the middle of... More

I have no problem with older hotels; often they can be quite charming which is what this hotel's website leads you to believe. They are currently doing renovations; the problem is they try to fill the rooms on the same floor(s) where the renovations are taking place. I was on the 3rd floor. One wing was totally blocked off with... More
