My son and I stayed here last summer (2013) for a weekend of Mariner's games. The room was so bad (small, worn out beds and carpet) we thought it was laughable. We stay in lots of hotels and likely this was the worst ever. Great location, just a very tired building. This summer (2014) my wife booked several different hotels... More

I got a nice corner room, friendly staff with valet parking. They quickly accommodated my request for another night and I was able to stay in the same room. Nice to have air conditioning and was able to sleep really well. Good shower and plenty of really hot water. It is close to business training center, nice to be next... More

My boyfriends and I were very pleased with our stay. The staff was overly friendly and to our surprise, the hotel was located relatively close to the markets. You could tell the hotel had some history. It seemed to be old, but with a modern art twist. They were making updates to it while we were there. The bathrooms were... More

We've stayed in hotels double the cost, that were much less convenient than this hotel! This hotel is quaint, charming and yes, smaller than your typical hotel. That being said, given its hugely convenient, centralized location, we found the cost to stay here to be a steal! If you are looking for anything else in the same location, expect to... More

The hotel was going through renovations during our three night stay, which undoubtedly affected the hotel experience. The hotel is older, and though the location was convenient, there was nothing exceptional about the room. We had a few problems--the sink drained slowly and the toilet was very loud when flushed. Outside of that, the room was clean and quiet and... More

I agree with previous reviewers with the general theme of the hotel mold/moisture, damp, and a rank smell...looks clean until you take a good look...we had four rooms here with the family...3 out of four had air conditioning issues, we paid for the bed and breakfast package and alas no vouchers each day...with no attempt to fix the problem after... Barb, Thank you for sharing your comments and we apologize for the error with the breakfast vouchers. As it turns out another agent had issued vouchers and failed to re-file them correctly. We are also working diligently to correct the odors that come from a building built in 1928, New elevators, updated bathrooms, new restaurant all within weeks of completion.... More

Stayed during July for 3 nights in a standard room, queen bed. Not very good impression at first arriving to the hotel after a long flight; front desk not very welcoming, to reach the elevator had to go down few steps with a large bag and the only one old elevator took a long time to arrive. Pretty clean, small... More

Nurit, Thank you for circling back and providing us with your review and for pointing out our clean room and location to many of Seattle's attractions. I do apologize for only having one working elevator, we are in the process of modernizing all our systems and equipment with smoother, quieter, and quicker elevators. Once completed all our guest will enjoy... More

This hotel worked out well for a business trip with meetings at the federal building. Took the light rail from seatac to closest station and walked a few blocks to the hotel. There were others in our group that had issues but I was in room 719 and was satisfied. Okay, the room was small and the bathroom tiny (the... More

Thank you for leaving us your comments and for pointing our clean room, great location and friendly helpful staff. First things first, the general theme of this hotel = mildew / mould / wetness / nasty-moistness / general funk (and funk in a bad way - not as in Del the funky homosapien). I suspect my lunks will be clogged with nastiness for at least a few more days. After waiting 20 minutes for a spot on the tiny... More

Came down to Seattle on my own for baseball and this hotel was everything that a single guy, travelling alone, could need. I really appreciated the free wifi as well as the computers on the lobby with access to a printer. The room was basic but clean. Although not very large it would still be fine for a couple.
