Thankfully we only had one night here as part of our tour. The hotel is old and tired looking and badly in need of a good overhaul and refurbishment programme. The carpets are very worn and grubby and you certainly wouldn't want to walk about in bare feet. Our allocated room was small and the furniture was old and dark.... More

Stayed here four times, over a several year period. For my purposes, it's fine. Yes,the hotel is old, which accounts for the smaller rooms, although the one I'm in tonight is quite large for this hotel. Some construction is going on (updating bathrooms),and one of the two elevators has been modernized. Carpets could use replacing as well. I like the... More

We stayed here for just 1 night (thankfully) with a tour group, the hotel is going through a refurbishment with just 1 lift working, the corridor carpets are grubby but will hopefully be replaced or cleaned when the work has finished the carpets in the rooms are in dire need of replacing and the only thing that had been refurbished... This property is the very definition of a very old, very tired hotel. The rooms are incredibly small and the rugs in the room and hallway are stained and in dire need of replacement. We tried to use the safe and that didn't work. To top it off some of the electrical outlets were so old and worn that the... More

Hotel prices in Seattle are so high recently, I went for this hotel for a $ deal. Check-in was great - very friendly. Got to room and it REEKED like moth balls. Turned on TV for Monday Night Football and got sound but no visual. Front desk gave me a new room, which smelled fine and had a working TV.... More

This hotel was...OK at best. The service and location were great, but the actual accommodations left a lot to be desired. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights in August 2014. During our stay, they were in the process of renovating the elevators and many guest rooms. In other words: you had to take the stairs if you... More

Very easy check in with friendly service. Didn't see any valet attendant outside so we parked ourselves up the street for $2 more - not recommended if you need to use your car during the day because you will have to pay again. Had 4 guests staying in a double room, space was a little tight but worked out just... More

We have read all the reviews. Check in was a breeze and we were on the 6th floor. Yes, only one elevator is in service. Even over the busy Labor Day weekend, it was not much of an issue during our stay and we rarely waited more than a few minutes. We took the stairs down several times as to... More

This is the 2nd worst hotel we have ever stayed in 50 years. I know it was going thru remodeling but we had one of the remodeled rooms. Remodel is a joke. The commercial toilet valve handle was installed over the toilet seat. When you open the toilet it hits the valve and flushes the toilet. Needless to say the... More

During the Labor Day weekend we stay at this charming yet tad modern hotel located only a few blocks from the market and a few blocks from the stadiums. The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom door was a little too modern with frosted glass, but the shower had a pretty cool purple and blue light display that went... More
