This hotel is great value for your dollar. It is not a chain hotel and is privately owned. The rooms are basic which, in my opinion, is all you need if your plan is to visit the city and not stay in your hotel room for your trip. It is only a couple blocks away from Pike Place Market and... More

Location- Location location location and the price of the rooms cannot be beat, seriously!! I am absolutely impressed with The Moore hotel, it's walking distance to anything at Seattle Centre or Waterfront. Rooms- Upon arrival the room was not ready, if it was am sure they would have accommodated us and allowed us in. There is no parking directly at... More

The Moore is a pleasant family-run hotel in a landmark building. Great location location between Downtown, the ferry piers and waterfront attractions like Pike Place Market and the Aquarium, and the great restaurants and bars of Belltown. No dining room, but a good coffee house off the lobby that's open all day and serves limited breakfast fare. The clean rooms... More

The Moore is a "boutique" hotel with a somewhat European feel to it. One gets to experience downtown living, there is lots of privacy, and one is within walking distance to many major attractions. An ideal setting for a short family vacation in Seattle.

This classic "grande dame" hotel is ideally situated close to Pike Place Market, the waterfront, and within easy distance to downtown destinations. There are many room options, catering to different tastes and budgets. After researching my options, I phoned the hotel and had a great conversation with Tracey about my choices. With her assistance, I chose a basic Queen. Arriving... More

Seattle in the summer has gotten to be an incredibly expensive place to stay. So when we had to pop down for a quick mid-week visit from Vancouver BC we didn't want to break the bank just to save ourselves from driving to and from in the same day. The Moore Hotel showed up as half the price of all... More

My friend and I were looking for a hotel for a shopping trip and she was recommended this hotel by a colleague. At first I was a little hesitant since I usually always stay at hotel chains such as Hilton for little getaways like this. When we first arrived we were greeted by the friendliest staff. It was a little... More

Beautiful old hotel-feels like you are in the 1930's. Great room with connecting bedroom was excellent for our 6 and 9 yr old. Windows on 5th floor were a small worry because kids could get out. Location is perfect. Steps from Pike Street. Of course it is noisy- it is downtown in a large city. Staff are just sassy enough... More

I loved this older hotel! It has enough upgrades do I didn't feel like I was staying in an old, stuffy place. The decor has a '60s mod feel. The people working at the front desk were all very nice, helping with parking advice and anything else that we needed. They seemed to get along well with each other, too.... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed our experience overall. We would stay here again if we return to Seattle! Pros: -affordable compared to other downtown hotels -renovated but still has a lot of character -helpful staff -good wifi signal -discounted parking -amazing location! Cons: -breakfast not included (but many cafes nearby) -only one elevator for... More
