this is a great hotel with great rates and rooms to stay in the middle of the city. No frills but very clean, funky and comfortable. Coffee shop attached offers great breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Despite all online websites saying fully booked I took my chance and called them and they had rooms available. I chose a... More

We chose the Moore after finding nothing but really high rates for a last minute vacation. It is close to the last stop on the Light Rail from the airport in a district which seems to be transforming for the better. You will like the Moore for its location close to Pike Place Market and town center, for its friendly,... More

One night stay in September 2014, needed a place in downtown but didn't want to spend chain-hotel rates. Moore was exactly as advertised - clean and comfortable, nice location. Quiet on a Thursday night. Opted for "Shared Bath" queen room...a first for me, and a last. Not a concept I'm comfortable with, though I did give it a chance. Rate... More

The hotel is located just 2-3 blocks from the light rail's WestLake station. Westlake is the last stop coming from SeaTac airport. The average daily rate varies from 70+ to about 100+ depending on room type. They have rooms with shared bath, single and double queens with private baths. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable. First 3 nights I stayed... More

I think this hotel has everything going for it. The location could not be better at 2nd and Stewart. Aside from front desk assigning me a low floor at the elevator instead of my requested quieter higher floor (which got fixed fairly quickly, but still?) the front desk was very helpful. My room was on the front of the hotel... More

Stay in Seattle three nights and this hotel is wonderful. If you're on a bud get this is the place to stay. The rooms were very clean. The front desk staff were very helpful at answering all my questions. They gave me great suggestions for dining. This place is great!

Perfect for a Seattle getaway! Great location downtown Seriously affordable Helpful and personable staff Spacious room A little stuffy on a hot summer night but with open window (might need earplugs) and provided fan it was ok Great option for breakfast and coffee at the adjoining coffee shop $15 parking option just around the corner Would stay here again!

I stay no place else in Seattle. Yes, it's a bit idiosyncratic, but then I only stay at the Tabard Inn when I visit Washington, DC, and the Tabard is similar. No phones, no TV, and the only reliable wifi is in the lobby (hey, who doesn't have satellite service on the iPad these days?). They allow dogs and the... More

We stayed 4 nights and loved this old hotel! We had read complaints on TripAdvisor about how slow the elevator was...The elevator is small, but it is not THAT slow. The rooms are each different & unique. We stayed on the 7th floor facing 2nd street with the window open at night. We were not bothered by the street noise.... More

I have stayed at the Moore at least a dozen times, knowing full well that this place is funky, old, different, stuffy, as in hot, and some of the hotel staff have such attitude. I have noticed this attitude, however, in shops at Pikes as well. Makes me wonder if some of these people are burnt out on customer service,... More
