My mother and I had tickets to Phantom of the Opera just down the street and sense we live only 2 hours North (or less depending on traffic) we usually drive home after the theater and dinner. But sense it was the weekend after my Birthday and I didn't have to be back to work till late the next day... More

I'm actually at the hotel right now. I'm here for work, and for the price of this hotel, the quality of the room is far below standard. The bathroom is in desperate need of remodeling and sanitizing. I called to change rooms. The man at the front desk said I'd already been here a long time, though I arrived an... More

This hotel is a classic example of recycling. The building has had many uses over the years but since 1998 it has been a boutique hotel. The entire place features old charm. The rooms have small kitchens and extra touches such as area rugs that you don't find in large chain hotels but you do have modern amenities like flat... More

Hotel is very very charming. I have had a most pleasant stay here. The room was very basic, high ceilings in which gave the room allot of charm. The room as well came equipped with a small kitchen that I was able to cook in. It made the place seem more like a home rather than a hotel. Staff was... More

I wish I could post the pictures we took of how dirty our hotel room was. The floor was so grimy, we had to wear our shoes at all times. My husband used a washcloth to wipe a spot on the floor and it was covered in gray/brown sludge. The hotel worker tried to tell us because the hotel is... More

I stayed here last week with my 3 kids. We had a great time and felt very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff, kitchenette was nice and beds were very comfortable. The location was excellent with walking distance to restaurants, grocery store and Seattle Centre nearby. We enjoyed staying in an older hotel as it was well maintained and my daughter... More

What a beautifully restored old hotel!! It was absolutely stunning inside, and my room was bigger than my apartment!! Enormous four poster bed, that was super comfy, huge tub, and a full kitchen with dining area. I wanted to stay much longer!! They front desk staff and bellmen were wonderful. What a great group of people! The girl Paris, at... More

Conveniently located close to the seattle center, super helpful staff, room wad amazing and huge - it was like staying in an apartment as we gad a full kitchen and living room (room 219). Would definitely stay here again. Be sure to ask about cutters. The shuttle that takes you there from marqueen is super handy.

The Marqueen is located in an historic 1918 Seattle building that has been renovated into an elegant hotel. The location is easy walking distance to everything at the Seattle Center including the Space Needle, IMAX Theatre, McCall Hall, Children's Theatre, Pacific Science Center, Key Arena, Restaurants, etc.. It is easy to travel downtown via the monorail, taxi or if you... More

After the reviews, this hotel was as expected. Pros: comfortable beds; sound-proofed to the outside (to be fair, we stayed mid-week and our window was facing the facade of the next building which was decorated with a mural); tastefully decorated and appropriate to its heritage; continental breakfast included; easy, polite and expeditious check-in/check-out; close to Space Needle; lovely doorman/valet. Cons:... More
