We stayed here for 12 nights in September. The rooms are a very good size and the kitchen/diner is a great addition. The bathroom was in need of attention as i read in other reviews. The sink was badly cracked and the bath was not much better with a constantly dripping tap. The staff are very helpful. This is in... More

I thought long and hard before booking 2 rooms for 6 nights at the Marqueen. There are enough bad reviews to make one think carefully. All I can say is that people need to grow a brain. This building is almost 100 years old, so you should not expect brand new anything, let alone everything. Every low review I read,... More

I have a soft-spot in my hear for historic properties, having worked from one years ago. Cute, quaint, lots of history and within walking distance and short bus rides to anywhere you want to go in Seattle.

I really liked this hotel. I was with some friends and we were climbing Mount Rainer. We stayed there before both and after the climb. The rooms were big and plenty of room for both of us and all of our gear. They had small kitchen and sitting area. The hotel is conveniently located. The hotel staff was generally nice.... More

Staying in the MarQueen Hotel is like taking a step back to a long ago time. The hotel has been restored to it's original glory. The rooms are very large with a small sitting room, a large kitchen and bath. It was indeed a pleasure to stay here. The lobby is beautiful and sitting there is a reminder of quieter... More

Images on website look better then real life. Hotel needs renovation long time ago. We had dripping water in the bathtub for three days, hair on the floor. Positive moment: very friendly front desk. I wish somebody react and fix our problem in the room.

This beautifully restored 1918 building was the Seattle Engineering School, used to retrain blacksmiths to work at the Ford assembly plant on Lake Union. Later named the MarQueen Garage & now the MarQueen Hotel. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the rooms are spacious comfortable apartment-like rooms with kitchenettes, real wood floors and cozy seating. Great place for a one night... More

This is a very nice antique hotel. The rooms are huge with kitchenette (comes with Microwave and basic utensils). There is valet underground parking and services is very quick. The restaurant where continental breakfast is very small, go early to get a table. There is only one person that waits all the table and therefore the service is very slow.... More

I'll break this review into sections to make it easier to find the information you are concerned with: STAFF: First off, let me say that the staff was great. All the gentlemen at the front desk, and the bellhop/door guy were extremely friendly and courteous. Even the folks inside the Tin Lizzie were great too. Fantastic staff and very accommodating.... Hotel is quite old-fashioned, bit north of center but reasonably close. Rooms were very spacious with large bed, lounge and kitchen. Didn't notice any noise issues Ten minutes walk from space needle, and beside a busy bus stop for easy connections to the center. Breakfast was basic but tasty enough.Cost 179 per night but this seems ok compared to similar... More
