Hotel is very very charming. I have had a most pleasant stay here. The room was very basic, high ceilings in which gave the room allot of charm. The room as well came equipped with a small kitchen that I was able to cook in. It made the place seem more like a home rather than a hotel. Staff was... More

I stayed here last week with my 3 kids. We had a great time and felt very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff, kitchenette was nice and beds were very comfortable. The location was excellent with walking distance to restaurants, grocery store and Seattle Centre nearby. We enjoyed staying in an older hotel as it was well maintained and my daughter... More

What a beautifully restored old hotel!! It was absolutely stunning inside, and my room was bigger than my apartment!! Enormous four poster bed, that was super comfy, huge tub, and a full kitchen with dining area. I wanted to stay much longer!! They front desk staff and bellmen were wonderful. What a great group of people! The girl Paris, at... More

Conveniently located close to the seattle center, super helpful staff, room wad amazing and huge - it was like staying in an apartment as we gad a full kitchen and living room (room 219). Would definitely stay here again. Be sure to ask about cutters. The shuttle that takes you there from marqueen is super handy.

The Marqueen is located in an historic 1918 Seattle building that has been renovated into an elegant hotel. The location is easy walking distance to everything at the Seattle Center including the Space Needle, IMAX Theatre, McCall Hall, Children's Theatre, Pacific Science Center, Key Arena, Restaurants, etc.. It is easy to travel downtown via the monorail, taxi or if you... More

After the reviews, this hotel was as expected. Pros: comfortable beds; sound-proofed to the outside (to be fair, we stayed mid-week and our window was facing the facade of the next building which was decorated with a mural); tastefully decorated and appropriate to its heritage; continental breakfast included; easy, polite and expeditious check-in/check-out; close to Space Needle; lovely doorman/valet. Cons:... More

Dear John, I'm glad to hear that you found the MarQueen to be a great place and hope your stay was otherwise pleasant with the one exception noted. To clarify, the issue at hand, was not a maintenance one, but one of user negligence. Our engineering staff found your room occupied at the time of the incident, with the tub... More

When we first arrived at the hotel - we were unsure of it due to its age, appearance and location (it seemed a little sketchy with the tattoo parlor across the street and several bars near by). But once inside in our room our attitude changed. The place was very charming - with loads of character and a lovely style.... More

The hotel was OK, but not more, next time I would try to find a hotel closer to the center. The area was OK but I did not have a larger selection of restaurants. The main advantage was the proximity to Seattle Center. Breakfast was OK but not more.

It was a great hotel and we enjoyed our time there very much. Thank you for the memories! There is no elevator so keep that in mind. Easy to get anyplace from this location. We had a wonderful and fancy breakfast! The beds were very comfortable and liked the sitting room in the bedroom.
