We ended up at the Marqueen by way of Priceline and when I first read about it I was not impressed as I dont typically like old hotels but it ended up being good. The hotel as stated is an old apartment building so most of the rooms are full suites meaning they are very spacious and would be great... More

The staff here are so pleasant and helpful. Large rooms with kitchens, great for extended stays. Great Restaurants and bars, across the street. Super walkable neighborhood, great for morning runs ! Enjoyed the daily breakfast and relaxing afternoons in the lounge after full days in the city. Had a surprisingly delightful afternoon in the on property spa, treatments were a... More

Cables running along walls, worn floors, chipped paint, and funky smell. The staff was great, and the bar was cool. It is way over priced. It has a lot of potential if it was updated. The rooms are large and is in a good location. For a little more, you could be in a nice hotel downtown. Unless renovated, won't... More

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at the Marqueen. We needed our boarding passes printed and the front desk staff offered to do this for us, without it costing us a cent. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a surprise inclusion and very nice too. I certainly recommend the Marqueen for anyone wanting a great... More

Stayed here on the bookends of climbing mount rainier with alpine ascents. They are located down the street so they have a deal. The rooms are quite big but have old wood floors that retain the smell of everything that ever set foot in the place. The showers are old style tubs with handles that are hard to adjust and... More

The hotel was located in a lively, safe neighborhood. We walked to City Center (Space Needle, etc.) daily. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, and they certainly made up for what was lacking with the accommodations. The hotel has an interesting history, but I wouldn't stay there again. It was very dated, and I felt like... More

I thought it was kind of spooky. This might be more of a family hotel and I was in Seattle on business. The whole ambiance reminded me of the Shining. They had a little continental thing for breakfast. That was cool. Near some really good restaurants. I'm a fan of Vietnamese food, and there was a good one around the... More

The hotel is an old apartment house, so our double room was a suite with separate kitchen diner and a large sitting area. The rooms are very clean, although kitchen and bathrooms are a little tired. When that happens the hotel will no doubt be very expensive. Staff were very helpful, and the hotel has very good restaurants nearby and... More

The hotel was very nice. The rooms were clean and well maintained although, of course a bit old fashioned since it quite an old building. The continental breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel is great for tourists and there are loads of delicious restaurants nearby.

The MarQueen Hotel was in Lower Queen Anne district. We highly recommend this area and the hotel. The surroundings of the hotel felt very safe. The selection of shops and restaurants were culturally diverse and interesting; not touristy. We totally enjoyed the fact that the Metropolitan Market was a block away to amuse us with such gourmet selections of made... More
